Has anyone stayed at this hotel recently? If so how close to Disney? How hard is it to find of I-95? Is it a decent safe place to stay?

I can help with part of the Q:

GA/FL line to WDW is 190 miles. Add 38 miles for mile marker 38 (exit) in GA, and you would be 228 (lets just say 230 for a round number) from WDW.

Hope somebody else can help with the other parts of the Q.

You'll be in a safe area, just a few miles from 95. I believe it will take you about 2.5 hours to get to Orlando from there. (Its been a while since we made that drive so you might be more accurate trusting Mapquest.) I read your other post about staying in Jekyll. There is a Holiday Inn on Jekyll that is on the beach. Once you leave the island, you'll have to go through Brunswick to get back on 95 anyway. (Hope this helps.)

Yep...we stayed there on our way down to WDW last Christmas. It was pretty easy to find and it was around 9:30pm when we got there. It has an indoor pool and great comfy bedding. We were pleased. In fact, we are staying there again on our way down this summer. There is a Country Inn and Suites right behind it. Donside..no free breakfast, but there is a on site restaurant, but they were really, really slow, but probably because it was a holiday. There's not t hat much around it (from what we could see at that time of night)..but I felt pretty safe. My Dh and 2 DDs (10 and 3 at the time) were with me as well. I felt more secure there than at the Savannah Gateway exit hotels which is where we used to stop.

You shouldn't have a problem in that area and the hotel is fairly new so it should be nice. The Mall is close by and there is a Federal Law Enforcement Training Facility within a couple of miles so I would feel safe there.

Thanks for helping make me feel okay about our choice. I have priority club rewards that were enough for one night stay at this hotel so I'm relieved that it is in a safe location.
