This is hilarious!

PS: I still think that DWTS is simply NOT the place for this kind of negative berating judging....
This show has never been like IDOL... It has never been like this.
It is supposed to be all in fun, for 'stars' to promote ballroom dancing. Not about huge contracts being awarded to people based on their talent.
ABC is clearly scripting all of this for the attention/ratings/drama.

After watching that I only have one question... exactly how many pairs of socks did he stuff down the front of those red/orange pants???? :scared1:

I am glad to see that a judge who judges dancing can actually dance. That's a good thing. I like Bruno. He is flamboyant, animated, dramatic and funny. He is my favorite judge.

Too funny.

I've always thought the judges were overly rude and I tend to fast-forward through their critiques. Bruno's criticism was excessive and it was unfair. As much as I like her, I think having contestants like Jennifer Grey on the show make the judges and the audience forget sometimes that they have stars on the show with absolutely no dance background.

Michael Bolton may not have done a good job by any stretch of the imagination, but it wasn't like he didn't try. To be that overly critical on a show that is supposed to be 100% entertainment is disgusting to me. And Bruno is usually the judge who annoys me the least.

Yep, he definitely CAN move!!!

And, we have always found his animated and suggestive critiques good for a real belly-laugh!!!!

But, never in my wildest dreams did I think he could make me laugh even harder!!!! :rotfl2:

Bolton was awful by anyone's gauge. Even my husband commented on how laughable he was. He's also verrrrry arrogant. My sister and I met him once at a concert and he was worse than Bruno was to him with some of his fans. He basically asked them to give him a reason that he should talk to them. We were amazed at how awful he was. So the other night, I stood up and applauded Bruno when he gave Michael Bolton his verbal beating. It was simply karma. He may not have deserved it that very night but oh how he deserved his commupance. Bravo Bruno!!! The other judges agreed, the scores were the lowest I've ever seen.

Bolton needs to lose graciously, as most of the others that have been booted off have been.

He was horrible, and Bruno absolutely does not need to apologize.
Bolton needs to learn to take criticism like a man.

As for the "I'm Still Standing" video, thanks for the trip down memory lane.

And at least Bruno was NOT the green and yellow body paint guy :scared1:!

Just a footnote about Bolton. Harry Hamlin and Lisa have a reality show starting Wednesday so I was watching some clips online. I always thought Lisa stole him (I know it takes 2) BUT Harry's wife was having an affair with MICHAEL BOLTON . Harry didn't meet Lisa until after him and wife had split up. I had no idea.

I also wondered HOW he could be engaged to Nicolette for so long. They seemed like a mismatched couple.

I also thought Bruno was tough but then remembered Michael didn't have the time to put in at the beginning. If you remember, he wasn't at the Live Show announcement naming the stars. He was busy. I do remember reading that he was being quite the diva during his short time there.

OMG!!! Thanks Robin!!! :rotfl2:

Man, I would LOVE some of that Shrimp!!!!!

PS: Again, I don't care if Michael Bolton fell flat on his **** on the dance floor... That is NOT the point. There have been PLENTY of untalented dancers... That is part of the show.... But, IMHO, Bruno's public berating was just, well, disgusting. That has never, ever, happened... dozens of folks have been sent home over the past seasons... and all have done so graciously... Including Michael Bolton.... He said it was a great experience 'except for Bruno's inappropriate comments'...

Sure, he should have just let it go...
That's right. Maybe he should have grown up and just let it go.
But, again... NOT the point.
Doesn't change the fact that Bruno was over-the-top disrespectful, and even Len Goodman agreed with this viewpoint.

This is NOT what the show has been all about.
If ABC is scripting this for exposure and drama... then :sad2:

Even before this became a big deal, I had mentioned to my husband, even going back to week one... "WTH??? Is ABC trying to script Bruno as the big 'Simon Cowell'....

Just another example of ABC taking something successful and positive and trying to script it into low class crap.

I also thought Bruno was tough but then remembered Michael didn't have the time to put in at the beginning. If you remember, he wasn't at the Live Show announcement naming the stars. He was busy. I do remember reading that he was being quite the diva during his short time there.
I thought it was Mike Sorrentino ("Situation") who wasn't there at the announcement and the beginning of the training.

Obviously I'm not famous... or am I?! ;) But if I were, there is NO WAY I'd want to go on the show knowing that I can't dance and that I might be humiliated by the judges because of it.

The point of the show is to entertain the audience... and for the starts, it's an opportunity to try something new. The judges have PRAISED people in the past for doing something that was obviously not in their comfort zone. The pros are there to teach the stars how to dance (or, if they're already a dancer... to become a better one).

Bruno was RUDE. He didn't have a single nice thing to say and he didn't offer any suggestions on what Michael could do to be better the next week. The judges have been getting worse with each season, and I will NOT listen to them anymore.

As for whatever Michael may or may not have done in the past or whether he is or isn't being a diva, that should not be reflected in the judging. When Melissa Rycroft was hurt and they had to judge her practice dance, all three judges said that they could only judge what they saw in that dance. And at the very beginning of this season when The Situation had less time to practice than the other stars, the judges also said they couldn't take that into consideration and that they could only judge what they saw.
