I'll be dining solo next week and was wondering what some of your favorites are here. Aldo, I've read that you are allowed to select more than one entree. Does anyone know if they will, serve half portions? I'd like to try the shrimp and grits and the carrot cake pancakes but there's no way I'll be able to eat all of that!

Thanks!

I love the shrimp & grits :lovestruc The Bloody Mary bar is also amazing.

I don't know if they will do half portions because we order different entrees & share them, but they will definitely bring you both.

Thanks! This does look like the perfect place for sharing. I hate to think about the waste.

I have an upcoming reservation as well and would love to hear about favorites. I am SO excited. And I don’t even like breakfast that much.

We love brunch at the top! I had the lobster omelet last time. The time before that I had pancakes. (Fiancé always ordered the steak.) You really can’t go wrong with anything here, best dining experiences we’ve had.

I just wish they would offer it weekdays too. It’s always hard for us to make it in time for a Sunday brunch.

We really enjoyed everything we had--the hanger steak, our omelettes, eggs benedict, and pancakes. Sushi was very good as well. Our favorite meal at Disney.

I love all of the good reviews! I canceled Tiffins to try this and am beginning to get excited! So far it's going to be Morning EMH at Hollywood Studios followed by brunch (12:55 PM). I have afternoon FPs in the MK but am thinking I might need a nap! I have a HEA dessert party that night.

The Bloody Mary bar is totally worth it, so good!

I have seriously looked up recipes to try and recreate the blueberry pancakes with delicious vanilla custard and blueberry compote.
Highly recommend a side of the cherrywood bacon
My husband said that the eggs benedict was good, but I was too focused on my pancakes to try his.

I have this booked for September, from what I’ve read from other reviews they don’t advertise it but you can order multiple entrees. I’m pretty sure I’ve heard of half portions as well, hoping for it since between myself and my husband we want to try them all.

You’ll definitely want a nap! It is A LOT of food. Last time our waiter told us we could come back and watch fireworks from the deck outside if we showed our receipt. Not sure if you’d rather do that and save the dessert party for a different day?

I thought about it. The brunch popped up recently long after I'd made my other plans. It's my only MK night and I really want to see the projections. I'm thinking brunch->hotel/nap and then back to the MK that evening. I'd need to move my FPs.

Sounds like a solid plan! You would probably miss a lot of the details being so far away. Enjoy your trip :)

We enjoyed our brunch not quite 3 weeks ago. We were not able to order half portions, but we could order as many entrees as we wanted. The only item that can’t be altered are the omelets.

I tried the lobster omelet and didn’t love it. I was able to order the vanilla bean French toast without the bananas and walnuts, and it was my favorite! So delicious! My husband really liked his classic eggs benedict, and I ended up eating the majority of his blueberry pancakes. Also delicious!

Side note- definitely hang onto your dessert party for HEA! It’s one of our must-dos.

Thanks for the tips everyone! This is the meal I'm most looking forward to. The original plan was nachos and beer at Captain Cook's!

Yumm this thread is making me hungry :)

Do you think it would be tough to do Brunch at the Top on arrival day? I'm planning on booking the earliest flight I can to land by 9/930 in Orlando Airport (MCO). Do you think making a 1215/1230 brunch would be feasible to make? I really heard rave reviews about this meal and think my husband & I would really enjoy this as a start to our vacation! Also- are you able to see the fireworks from here for the MVMCP on those nights? We will be going in November on a party night. Thanks!

I think it might be possible but there are a lot of variables outiside your control. It would definitely require a smooth travel day (no delayed flights or long waits for magical express, etc) I would personally try to book the latest reservation possible to give yourself extra time. Our server told us we can come back for the fireworks if we bring our receipt but we have never done it. It really is a wonderful experience, I hope you can squeeze it in!

Im dying to try the lobster eggs Benedict but I dont like runny egg here at home I cook the egg until there is no runny part for eggs benny.. Do you think they can do that at WDW?

we ordered 4 entrees between the 2 of us, I thought they were all smaller/ or 1/2 portions. Definitely worth doing to get more bang for your buck. Ref the runny egg-- Im sure they will cook it as you want.

I just scored an ADR for us next Sunday, and I couldn’t be more pleased. It’s what I am most looking forward to this trip.

It really sounds like a stellar meal. I’ve eaten at California Grill so I already know how spectacular the atmosphere and views are up there.
