My DH and I are doing Brunch at the Top at California Grill in December on the same day we will attend MVMCP. I know that California Grill allows people to come up to see the fireworks later if they had brunch that day. However, since we would be at MVMCP, I don't think we would take advantage of it. However, it sure would be nice to see the regular fireworks (Happily Ever After) from there! Has anyone ever heard of California Grill allowing people to come back for fireworks the day after their meal (it would then be a Monday night)? I would hate to miss out, and I certainly will ask at the restaurant if no one knows (it can't hurt, right?). Thanks!

I would guess no. It would be very difficult to keep track of everyone if it was anything other than day of... could you imagine the crowd control if they started allowing adjacent days?

I figured if it was allowed it would be a really special case. However, I also wondered if viewing MVMCP fireworks would be considered more in demand. We just want to see the regular fireworks.

I'm guessing - maybe.

Since dining packages get people a FP+ that, in the event of inclement weather, offers an opportunity to return for their show at a later date, you may get a Cast Member at CA Grill to be kind enough to offer you a similar thing. And if they do, write it up when you receive your survey when you get home.

Only way to know is to ask at the podium. These are the same people you'd have to greet with a 'valid' receipt. They will know what rules they are following.

We had an early dinner reservation at CG in May.. we came back for the fireworks and I had my receipt in my hand but no one ever looked at it. I walked past the podium and to the elevators and got on. I thought they would be a lot stricter about checking receipts.
