Bruising from dental work...

Just had two molars taken out, but not with my choice of dental surgeons. It was an emergency the day after Christmas and my choice wasn't in. So my dentist went down his list til he found someone open and willing to fit me in. Everything worked well and the dental surgeon made sure I was good and numb. No visual impact but my upper and lower area and jaw still ache and it feels swollen. I guess this is the way it will be until everything is healed. I have no insurance and they offer no discount and actually laughed at me when I asked! Front desk staff rather rude, but dental surgeon and assistant were great. Hope your bruises fade and maybe you can find a dentist you are comfortable with because you have to trust the person working in your mouth. Still want to understand why Medicare and all the plans that I can use don't include dental. It is expensive to have teeth!
