When I go to the plastic surgeon I tell him I want the Michael Jackson / Bruce Jenner look. Kind of plastic, kind of like a mannequin, its a cool look. And it makes me sooooo ready and prepared for a sci fi movie if I ever get the chance. I could become a robot or cyborg totally without any makeup. I would also like a nose that I can just take off and on, or change it out depending upon my mood. Plastic surgery is so cool.

I am not sure he had nose work done unless it was pre-Olympics.

I believe Jenner has gone on record as saying that he considers much of the work that's been done on his face a mistake. He went in for a 'touch up" and ended up getting talked into so much more by his surgeon. Sadly, from what I understand, he's pretty embarrassed by the final results.

When I see these results with plastic surgery, I am more inclined to grow old gracefully. The trouble with celebrities is, as they age, they are aware that they no longer look the way they used to. And, they think the public wants them to look the same forever, too. So, they resort to plastic surgery because creepy is better to them than old.

The earring, just silly to me, another Guy,. seeking attention...his "wow" factor to get the acknowledgement.
As far as the plastic surgery, he has said many times that he was not happy with the results he got and that he wishes he had not done it.. thats sad to think that the permanent change he made is not to his likeing,,,,I mean he sees it EVERY day in the mirror

As far as the wife and family....strange bunch of people, they have made it$$$ and that dynamic seems to work for them, so I say, to each his/her own...they do no harm

I don't really get the big deal about the earrings. Almost every male sports figure has two really huge, gaudy earrings and no one says anything about those. I do think the plastic surgery is out of control. I feel sorry for people who feel they need such extensive work to be accepted.

To address a couple of earlier posts before I respond to yours, I think that Kenny Rogers has also come out publicly with regrets about his surgery.

As far as the shallowness of Kris, and it may have been just a rumor, but I heard she was considering going back to her former married name of Kardashion because of the success of the show. How hurtful to Bruce that must have been.

Ok, for this post, don't celebrities see how the public reacts to botched plastic surgery? Are they in denial? If I were a celebrity, I would not do plastic surgery. Unless I had the phone number of Dolly Parton's dr. I am just assuming that at her age, she has had some work, but you can't tell. That makes for a successful plastic surgery.

He has gotten so creepy with the plastic surgery. IDK how many of you watch Say Yes to the Dress Atlanta but if you do ...or even google it...look at Monty the fashion director (not sure of his title). Monty reminds me so much of a 'festive' Bruce Jenner.

Actually, I do believe the public wants them to look young forever.

You only have to go on any entertainment-related site and see an endless stream of negative comments on almost any celebrity -- people find the most minute flaws and pick and pick and pick at them. I can imagine how the constant denigration of any tiny flaw makes celebrities -- who are often very insecure people desperate for positive attention -- paranoid and willing to undergo drastic steps. (I remember Paula Abdul, for example, saying that the origins of her eating disorder lay in the negative comments she got after one awards show -- when she actually looked fantastic. Nonetheless, commenters -- who IMO are often jealous people -- were picking her apart and she began to doubt her own eyes.) Add to that the real fact that as you age or if you put on weight, the roles get smaller and so do the paychecks... Well, celebrities have way more incentives to undergo surgery than not.
