I mean all you soccer parents. Esp those with 'Big Kids'. Today was DS's last game of the season. It was probably in the high 30s today and colder with wind chill. DS is 5 and played the entire game wearing gloves, a hat, long pants, his big soccer socks pulled all the way up, with shin guards on over them, a tshirt, a turtle neck, and his game shirt.

I think the kids were better off than the parents. Had to break out the winter coat for this. Brrrrrr, chilly stuff. Glad it's over for this season, next up, swim lessons at the Y. Nice and warm in there :)

I LOVE IT!!!

IMHO, it's much better than standing in 97` heat with a dewpoint equal to the temperature and you can get your daily liquids in just by sucking in the air around you!!!

I'll always pick bundling up to stripping down....there's only so much of that you can do at a kids' soccer game anyway!!!;)

We have two more games tomorrow!

BRRRRRRRRRR!

They are for the state championships for U-12 Travel so I'll tough it out!

Oh man, I used to be a cheerleader and we were out there in short shorts. We had our winter coats, blankets and hot chocolate ready and waiting after just about every cheer. It was fun though.

Good Luck with your guys Kev!!!

Good Luck to you too Alex

nkjzmom,
It was so chilly, but I agree, I think I would rather bundle up than deal with 90s and humidity. Blech.

OMG! I was out there today too at 11:00am. It was freezing. Had to have been the longest hour ever! I am such a wimp when it comes to the cold. I would much rather 100 degrees than even 40! Thankfully, today was his last game until the spring.
