Here's the deal:
I booked a WL room for Jan. 8-13 through BRP and my mom did the same thing. We both have APs. However, now it looks like my mom & dad won't be able to go due to my dad's kidneys failing & possibly doing dialysis several times a week.
I realize that if you cancel you lose your deposit of one night, but I'm wondering if the ressie for my parents could be used by us and then we'll just have two rooms? I'm thinking the ressie isn't transferrable but I'm hoping that it's possible.
:confused3

I just found this in my confirmation so I'm guessing we're out of luck:

"Non-Transferable

-Reservations are not transferable, and the guest for whom the room(s)
or package(s) are reserved may not be changed. "

It would be great if they would make an exception but I'm not gonna hold my breath.

Call Disney & explain what is going on (medically) and they may wave the penalty fee of one night. Offer to send them proof if needed. They may be able to help you.

We are going to try that, but if they don't waive it we can't really get mad since it's clearly stated in the confirmation. But it's worth a shot.

:goodvibes
