I am unsure about the actual discount with the BRP programme and trying to work out If It would be worth me paying for the annual pass to get BRP rate. What sort of discount would I be looking at for the following vacation for 2 adults & 2 children:- 01/02/06 1 week at PO (RS & FQ not fussy as both are good) and the following week 01/09/06 at Fort Wilderness cabins. I just wish there was a way for non AP holders to just view the prices they would receive If they purchased an AP.

I am a brand new AP holder so not sure about room discounts but keep in mind that you can purchase the Disney Dining Experience card for $50 if you are an AP holder. That will give you a 20% discount at most RESTAURANTS in WDW so for a family of four staying for two weeks, that might make the AP purchase more attractive.

So if you are staying 14 days its no question to get an AP. You would have to pay either 7+7 park passes = 475$ or 10+4 = 481$ compared to the 420$ for the AP. So the room discount would be the icing on the top.

We are getting 14 day passes for $267 so It's cheaper than the $420 for an annual pass. Thats why I was wondering exactly how much you save with BRP to see If we would save any money at all.

What is your source for the 14 day pass at such a cheap price?

I checked you dates this morning. The AP rate at POFQ or POR (both were available), standard view, is $99/night, $110.40 w/tax, total = $772.80. The AP rate for the water view is $115/night, $128.22 w/tax, Total = $897.40. You would save $40 per night with the AP rate.

The AP rate for the FW cabins (arriving 1/9/06, 7 nights) is $169/night, $188.44 w/tax, total = $1319.08. You would save $70 per night with the AP rate.

I'm really confused these days. Let my AP expire since I wouldn't be able to use again until January 06 and would have wanted to use again in August...anywho...will be going 1/13 (very late check in) and leaving 1/17/06 (noonish). Would also like to go back for maybe August 4-13/06. I missed getting there this summer and all these "new and improved" plans have me all messed up. It's just DD and myself. Last time we both had APs and because of the room rate (we always stay at WL) it was actually worth it. At this point, I'm trying to figure out if I should do room only ressies, MYW passes and wing it on food...or...do 1 AP for room, park pass and Disney Dining and a MYW pass for the DD (age 14) or ...any other ideas? pirate:
