i just booked AKL for $109 from 1/24-1/27 this is before tax rate

That is a great rate. That's the rate I was going to get for AKL until I found out I had a PIN code attached to my name ($97.04 a night w/tax). It's not everyday that you can stay at AKL for $109 a night (121.24 w/tax).

You are soooo lucky! Even with our AAA discount a standard AKL room would be $170 a night ... before tax.

i ended paying 99 for aasp in oct because it was less than 60 days out

$121.54 a night is still an awesome rate for AKL because that's still a savings of $107.21 a night. That's should take care of some of your meals with the savings alone.

I have to say, we were gunning for Wilderness Lodge in July, which is the Deluxe Resort's Value Season. However, if this rate comes out to the AKL, that will be our play.

I'm crying here. We decided to go in December this time instead of January. Our rate is no where near that good............Keep reminding myself, but you are using your frequent flyer miles....

What does BRP stand for?

Is this a room only thing?

BRP (Best Rate Program). It's for annual pass holders and basically you make your reservation 60 days ahead of time online and it's suppose to give you the best public offered rate available for your dates. If a room only discount comes out, the BRP rate is suppose to go down to match that rate.
