How is DS doing?

Hi Marilyn. Hey Goofy.

Dakota is doing pretty good. He's not in any pain, we've tested his fingernails several times to make sure his circulation is ok. He's doing real well. He's just very frustrated right now. He can't do all kinds of fun stuff like riding his bicycle or swing (even though he's mad at the swing right now ).

I called the Ortho today about the cast, and asked why we had to wait so long. She said the dr likes to wait 7 to 14 days to make sure there's not any swelling so the cast will fit snug. She said they shouldn't need to re-break it. I hope she's right. It'll just be me and him at the dr. I told the psychologist I work with about that. She offered to go with me to hold my hand. I told her she could just listen to my dramatic tale when we get out of the dr's office instead.

Thanks for asking. That was sweet of all of you to ask about him.

I'm glad to hear Dakota is not in any pain. Hopefully after he gets his hard cast on he'll be able to play on his bike and stuff.
