Is there anywhere other than the Brown Derby you can get the grapefruit cake? Starring Rolls maybe? My mom really wants to try it but I don't really want to burn 2 TS credits. How tacky would it be to go there just for dessert? Would we need ADR's (in Jan)? TIA

I was able to get it from Starring Rolls, they do not have it in the case, but you can ask for it.

My Dad always asks a Starring Rolls for the Grapfruit Cake...and his wish is always granted. This year he asked a CM working- and they didn't know what he was talking about...but one of the CM overheard and was able to help him. So if you get a "unsure" CM just ask someone else.

It is not tacky to go just for dessert. You could also pay cash and have a light meal. Our plan this fall is to share a cobb salad and have grapefruit cake :)

It is not tacky to go for just dessert and pay OOP.

I did this for my 40th bday and it was so much fun.
We went early (lunch time), did have an ADR.

The server was so nice, even give me a bday card with all the staff signatures and an extra dessert. So cool!!!

He really went out of his way to make sure I had a good time.
