Brown Derby table for 3?? Combine multiple ressies?

Just booked three Brown Derby Fantasmic package ressies for 3 each (party of 9 in total) at 3:30 pm on May 9th. It wouldn't let me book for any more than 3 people per party - does the Brown Derby have tables for 3? Is there any way to combine the 3 reservations into 1 for 9? If not, what are the chances they will be able to seat us together with the 3 separate reservations? Also, in hindsight I should have put different names on each ressie - will I have any problems with them cancelling any or all of them because I have 3 identical ones or will they be able to see that there are 9 of us on the resort reservation and figure it out they are all needed?

will they be able to see that there are 9 of us on the resort reservation

No, because the restaurant reservation system has no connection with the resort reservation system. The only reason they need your resort number is to show that you are eligible for 180+10. The restaurant has no idea how many people are on your room reservation.

No, you cannot combine the reservations. The best you can do is show up and request to sit together or close to each other. As for the three concurrent reservations, it's sometimes reported that they could be cancelled if a CM notices them and decides to cancel them.

Does the Brown Derby actually have tables for 3? It only let me book for 3 at a time but I was able to get all 9 of us in that way. If the tables really are for 3 then it may be more difficult to get us all seated together and I may just cancel the reservation.

I did get reservation for party of 5 but have no clue if we will all be seated together as the silly little message stating that party might not be seated together always pops up regardless.

we ate there in January...as a party of 3...and we were seated at a 4-top table. Didn't notice any tables you would call a table for 3.

So the ADR system is kind of wonky today. I ended up cancelling the three ressies for 3 at 330pm on May 9th and was then able to book one for 9 at 330pm which it wouldn't let me do earlier today. Lots of availability around 2pm to 330pm for Fantasmic packages at both the Brown Derby and Mama Melrose for May 9th.

Now I have to decide if I want to keep my Mama Melrose ADR for lunch at noon or try and get a late breakfast around 10 or so. Given that my Fantamic package is at 3:30 what time can I reasonably expect to get seated and actually be eating? 430ish? Also, how long will they hold an ADR past your booked time? 15 mins? 30 mins??

I would say check-in 15 min before ADR (so 3:15) because at 3:30, I would bet they seat you very close to on time (the restaurant will not be full...they may book all the available Fantasmic tables, but there is a limit to how many of those they will book in each time slot since there is a set number of seats in the reserved areas. So only a portion of the tables in each of the three restaurants is set aside for the package. The rest of the tables will be for non-ticket parties, and 3:30 is not a very popular time for lunch or dinner. I would bet the place is 1/2 empty while you're there. We did the package in January for a lunch seating at 1:30 (which is towards the late side of what most people would call the lunch hour)...the restaurant was 1/2 empty while we were there.

They will only hold 20 min...and then your reservation is cancelled and they bill your credit card for the cancellation fee. You won't get the Fantasmic tickets if they cancel your reservation, though you could probably get seated later if you just want to eat there anyway. And do note that to check in your entire party of 9 will have to be there.
