We are going in December. Fantasmic is only being shown one night during our stay. So, we have WAY too much to get in in one evening (this will also be our only night in Hollywood Studios to see Osborne Lights.)

So, here are my questions:
1. My dining reservation for Brown Derby is at 7:30 PM. The park closes at 8:00.
A. How long will they hold my dining reservation past 7:30?
B. How late will Brown Derby stay open - if we arrive at, for example, 7:45, will we still be able to have dessert (we're on the dining plan...)

2. Can we see Fantasmic at 6:30, go walk through Osborne Lights at 7:15ish, and still make our dinner reservation at 7:30 (ish)?

3. Do any of you Disney experts have a better suggestion of a plan for us to see Fantasmic, Osborne Lights, and eat dinner in the HS?

Thanks so much!!!!

I do not know the answer to #1. But as far as #2 is concerned I don't think you would be able to do F! and OL before dinner. But I wish you luck on trying!

I don't think you'll be able to do F! and OL by 7:30 either because probably half of the F! audience will be headed to the OL with you. If you arrive late at the HBD, I would be concerned that they had already stopped seating since it is close to park closing time. Since HBD has the same menu all day long, perhaps you could go there earlier in the day?

My son and daughter in law tried this in January; getting late to HBBD for dinner. They got turned away. If you want to eat there; I'd try to eat earlier in the day, before Fantasmic.

We changed our reservation til 4:30. Now, we just have to be done with dinner early enough to get to Fantasmic.
