I thought my DS3 would enjoy Sci-fi this year, but now I'm wondering if the film will scare him (or he'll ask me to switch it to Mickey - drat that DVR!). Thinking of switching to brown derby instead which my husband would love! Just wanted to get others' thoughts?

sci-fi is NOT scary...my kiddo (who was 3 when we went) was more interested in the car we got to sit in and the surroundings. Its black and white....totally harmless!

My 3 year old grandson was scared of everything at WDW but he loved Sci Fi. The clips are not scary, its relatively quiet in there and the cars are so much fun in which to dine.

Not scary.....
yes it is hard to eat at Sci-Fi and not Brown Derby... but few (was going to say no but I am sure someones kid enjoys this) kids enjoy sitting through a 2 hour meal.

I am all for Brown Derby over sci-fi but children also rule my world

That's so funny! My son, too, was scared of all of the rides last year and just wanted to hear the music and hug characters! I just never know how he's going to react!! I guess we'll stick to Sci-Fi - if he freaks, I'm sure there is a CS around that will be happy to serve us!

Sci fi all the way.

It's not scary at all. My 3 year old loved it and asked to go back this year.

They can sit in a car - pretend they are driving. I got my DD one of those drinks with the light up tinkerbell which was great as it was quite dark - they do a cars or buzz one for boys.

It DOES sound like he will have fun - now I wonder if I will be able to get him to eat with all the cool stuff going on!! :)
