Brown Derby: crab cakes at lunch??

can the crab cakes appetizer (at dinner) be ordered at lunch?

has anyone done this?

Unfortunately I've never been there but I was wondering the same thing. Has anyone ordered the crab cakes at HBD as a lunch appetizer?

1) We tried once, and were told no.
2) The waitress said that at one time, it was yes.
3) But, too many ordered the crab cake and didn't order a meal.
4) So, it turned out to be a loss of revenue.

guess when we get there we'll ask - i'd like to get crab cakes and coconut shrimp for us both as appetizers, a large cobb salad to share, and 2 or 3 desserts to share with coffee - maybe if i present it that way, the answer might be yes - plus, we have a late lunch ADR (closer to dinner time)
