So, I've heard so much about this dish that I'm already dying to eat it when we go later this year. But my question is, can I just eat this salad for a meal? I'm a guy with a decent, but not huge appetite. Just how big is this salad? In this pictures I've seen, it looks pretty small for $15. Can I make a lunch out of just this?

I have had it before, though a few years back. I have a good appetite and actually had a little left over that I took back to the hotel but get the chicken with it. I can't remember if it came with it or was an add on. It is chopped very finely so they give you plenty to fill the dish that it is served in.

My husband and I have it every time we visit. We each get one as our main course. YUM! The only negative I have is that they no longer will serve it with grilled shrimp. We always ask though.

My husband and I always share this salad....I think it is delicious. As for an entree, I think it would be filling enough....but then again, I always save room for dessert! :rotfl2:

It's plenty big enough to serve as an entree. The $15 pricing reflects that the portion is supposed to be an appetizer for two people.

My two adult sons shared it in October as an appie, and it was huge. When I asked the one son if he wanted to go along back to WDW next year, he said "Can we eat at Brown Derby again? I want that Cobb Salad." He said it would be just fine by itself for a meal.

This is my favorite meal at DHS. A Cobb Salad, delicious roll, and a La Fin Du Monde to round it out. Yum!
