Brotherly love....so sweet

BF got a surprising gift! He isn't close with his younger brother at all, so went and bought him a little gift - some shower gel and deodrant, for a few £s. Just a token gift, as he wasn't expecting his brother to buy him a gift at all.

But his 18yo brother had done the sweetest thing....
A while ago he'd been throwing out a pair of K Swiss shoes that didn't fit him, and BF said he liked them. BF offered to buy them from him but his little bro wouldn't take his money, and BF wouldn't accept them for free....

So his brother bought him a brand new pair for christmas!!! I think even my 'macho' bf couldn't help but be moved to tears by this.

I couldn't believe it, they aren't at all close, but his little bro hadn't just been generous with his gift, but so thoughtful as well. I think his brother probably looks up to his big brother more than he lets on

Needless to say BF was so embarrassed that he'd only bought his brother a small gift.

Now that gift really has the spirit of Christmas in it. I hope those shoe will inspire your bf to work on becoming closer to his younger brother. I always tell my DSs to cherish each other because friends will come and go, but brothers are here to stay. I pray all my children will have a close relationship with each other.
