Brooklynn takes Bella to see Cinderella. Last thread.

You have been very busy updating today, MeMom!!!

Those early morning sunrise pictures around the Lodge were one of the things I was most looking forward to from you! Just gorgeous!!!

Bear prints at Disney???;)

Great Wilderness Lodge souvenirs. I hope they have some cool resort-themed ones at our next resort. :rolleyes1

I laughed out loud over the interaction of the Steps -- especially the entire conversation about the cinnamon roll.

Alice! Need I say more?

Hope you are enjoying your time off and all the preparations for both Christmas and your sure-to-be-magical upcoming vacation.

We saw the Stepsisters at MNSSHP, too. They were yelling at people on the Teacups. I don't know what it was that they were screaming, but they were making a lot of racket!

The Stepsisters are a little loud. Brooklynn wasn't sure what to think of them, but so far, she hasn't been scared of any characters. We'll see how Bella does this time. She'll probably just smile them all to death. That girl smiles all the time! :)

On My Oct trip I got caught up watching them by the castle and they were hysterical!!! Even their handlers were laughing over some of the things they were saying.

Lines of parents and small children and the step sisters would order them to "Come on already, don't you see that line!" When they were done, " Go away now, we are done with you!"

A crowd gathered to view the interaction ( myself included) and a step sister yelled at us taking pictures of the interactions"' What kind of creepers are you?, these are not YOUR children you are taking pictures of" :rotfl2:
That last comment got the handlers giggling and a bit in awe of what they just said AND got away with saying.

Only in Disney ! :rotfl:

I look forward to finding them again on the next trip for another show, if I can squeeze into MK.

When Anastasia heard Jill say that Brooklynn was going to meet some princesses and then go and get a cinnamon roll, she started pleading with her mother for a cinnamon roll for herself.

"Oh, Mother, IIII waaant a cinammon roll, tooooo!"

"You may NOT have a cinnamon roll!", she was told.

She whined on about a cinnamon roll, and Stepmother told her that was not an appropriate breakfast, so she finally gave up.

they are such a hoot!

Brooklynn put her hands on her hips to pose a little more.

IMG_0453.jpg

That ended up being one of the cutest moments of the trip.

such a great picture, too! :thumbsup2

we made our way to the Teacups, where Alice was about to board a cup.

IMG_0455.jpg

what a lucky little girl! i always wish she'd grab my hand and take me to a teacup with her. :rotfl:

One of our parties while we wait for the summer trip should be a:

Don'tcha think? :ccat:

DEFINITELY!!!!

erica - is it just me or does this look like a certain princess we met that was dressed in blue and her name begins with a C and ends with an A?

cute picture!

I only have a few days left to finish, so I am hitting it hard!

Will there be creatures at your next resort? Or a lighthouse? Or Magic Kingdom fireworks from the balcony? Or perhaps a huge clown pool? A DTD view? Mardi Gras beads and jesters hanging from the ceilings? A huge water wheel and boat rides to Downtown Disney? Pirate and Nemo rooms? Just what will your next resort be? The DIS world anxiously awaits the answer! :cool1:

I enjoyed Official Day One off. I got the house in order. Today is shopping and packing day.

I hope the trip is magical. I need it to be, because I am stressing about the money. In January, it's back to basics until I get my head above water again.

The 'Steps' just go out and have a blast with their improv, I think. It's pretty much anything goes with them.

I wish our system would pay for us to go to some seminars in Orlando. ::yes::

they are such a hoot!

such a great picture, too! :thumbsup2

Brooklynn may not have had a lot to say to the Step Family, but she can still pose with the best of 'em!

I think a Mad Tea Party would be a fun event. We'll put that on our list. :thumbsup2

*****************************

After leaving Alice, we strolled this way.

IMG_0468.jpg

Mickey was out on his front porch, perhaps picking up the morning paper.

IMG_0469.jpg

Wouldn't it be fun if he came out in a long nightshirt and fuzzy slippers? :goodvibes

We needed to see Princesses first, so we would visit Mickey's house another time.

Since Tinkerbell and her friends have arrived, we have the the Princesses line is significantly shorter. We got in quickly.

First up, Aurora.

She, too, liked Brooklynn's necklace.

IMG_0470.jpg

I think this picture is sweet.

IMG_0471.jpg

Brookie is deep in thought here.

IMG_0472.jpg

Aurora, meet Bella.

IMG_0473.jpg

IMG_0474.jpg

Next, the title moment finally occurs.
The trip was almost over, and Bella had still not met Cinderella.
But here she was, the Princess of all Princesses!

First she talks to her old friend, Brooklynn.

Cinderella joins in on checking out the necklace.

IMG_0476.jpg

IMG_0477.jpg

Bella, meet Cinderella.

IMG_0478.jpg

Look at Brooklynn adoring her little sissy.

IMG_0479.jpg

Brooklynn started getting a bit restless. It was possibly time to eat.

IMG_0480.jpg

IMG_0481.jpg

Bella didn't cooperate in making her meet with Cinderella a stellar event, but at least she had finally come face to face with the one and only lovely Cinderella.

The next Princess in line was Belle.

IMG_0484.jpg

IMG_0485.jpg

IMG_0486.jpg

IMG_0487.jpg

Yeah, I'm definitely going to go with the fact that Bella was getting hungry! ;)

IMG_0488.jpg

Belle, Brooklynn, and Jill wrestling Bella.

IMG_0489.jpg

A good place to shop. Lots and lots of stuff here.

IMG_0491.jpg

Over to Mickey's house for a minute.

IMG_0492.jpg

He's always prepared for the big game!

IMG_0493.jpg

Next up, we visited Mickey and Minnie.

IMG_0495.jpg

IMG_0496.jpg

IMG_0498.jpg

IMG_0499.jpg

Bella is still fussy here.

IMG_0501.jpg

As I look at that picture, I remember my knee hurting a lot as I stood there. It's weird how certain pictures remind me of that.

Brooklynn had made the decision (of her own free will this time ;)) that she would like to ride Barnstormer.

IMG_0502.jpg

IMG_0503.jpg

IMG_0504.jpg

She was more aware of the ride this time, as well as a little older, so she did a little better.

IMG_0505.jpg

She was still a bit frightened, but it was short of terrified this time.

IMG_0508.jpg

IMG_0509.jpg

IMG_0510.jpg

We met Jill and Bella over by the water cooler at the fruit market.

IMG_0511.jpg

On the ground.

IMG_0512.jpg

Toontown behind us, it was time to find Brooklynn's cinnamon roll.

Sweet things to choose from.

IMG_0513.jpg

We got ours to go and took it all to our new 'secret' place.

IMG_0514.jpg

IMG_0515.jpg

The time was:

IMG_0516.jpg

Brooklynn watched some movies,

IMG_0518.jpg

and pretended she was the eighth dwarf

IMG_0520.jpg

while Jill fed Bella.

Awww, Bella's first meeting with the princesses! How sweet!!! :lovestruc

Glad that Brooklyn survived her second ride on the Barnstormer.

I bet if Anastastia had seen that cinnamon roll, she really would have been whining to her mother. :lmao:

I promise to reveal which resort we are staying at as soon as I finish the October trip report and start the PTR -- which hopefully will be during this break. :goodvibes

I just love the Princess pictures! Although, maybe it's just me, but do the princesses look a bit...homely? The pictures of Brooklynn on Barnstormer are classic!

I so needed a morning walk around Wilderness Lodge today. :cloud9: Thanks MeMom!

Brooklynn meeting the Stepmother and Stepsisters is too cute. I love the little pose with her hands on her hips.

I loved the pictures of Brooklynn and Alice. Alice looked so friendly and fun. I think Brooklynn was quite brave to meet the Steps as well. I think that would have sent Hannah into hiding.

Aw I just love that face of her smiling from ear to ear with Aurora! :cutie:

Yay! Bella finally meets Cinderella!

:rotfl2: I think she was hungry too. Looks like she's about ready to bite Jill's thumb off! :rotfl:

Aw..glad she went on the Barnstormer..even though she still made that face. :rotfl:

Ooooooh cinnamon rolls! You know I love those! Where exactly was your table at?

I love all the character interaction pictures, especially the ones of Alice. My boys were wondering why I had tears in my eyes as I was looking at them. There is something about that Disney magic that is hard to explain.

On a sad note, take your time enjoying Toontown when you go. I was reading in my Orlando Attractions magazine last night that it is tentatively scheduled to close in January 2010 due to the Fantasyland expansion. I makes me so sad that Toontown as we know it will be gone. It holds so many memories for my little guys. I'm sure we will be excited for the new attractions but it will be bittersweet.

I think I need to move near you. Every time it snows, you are in the kitchen making goodies!

I would love that!!!

August 2nd - Morning at Wilderness Lodge.

I loved all the pics! It's nice to look at beautiful greenery while it's cold and white here!

Tom thought and thought about getting that Walt pin for himself, but ended up not getting it.

This is so cool!

I've never seen the Emporium so empty!

Way to go, Brooklynn!

Such priceless pictures!!
I miss my WL. I just might have hot some hot coco out of that second WL mug this morning. :goodvibes
Yay for Bella finally meeting the princesses!!
Looks like it was a hot day today.
Right now, the cold front has left us and it will probably be in the 70s when you come down. Maybe I could talk DH into new years on the poly beach. It's only a 3 hour drive.:rolleyes1

MeMom: as requested here are some pictures from our weekend.

First Hannah, my Mom and I went to see The Nutcracker on Saturday. As always, it was a wonderful performance. This was the first time my Mom went with us and she enjoyed it as well. Hannah was cracking me up because she kept telling me what was going to happen next. I think she's seen it a few times! Here's pictures of her through the years with the Sugar Plum Fairy:

I collect nutcrackers and every year I get a new one. Here's a picture of the one for last year (the red and white striped nutcracker) and the one for this year:

That night we went to a local park. They have put up lights around the park and on certain nights they have a Santa Train, where Santa is the conductor. The rest of the time it's just a regular train ride. We had Alison this weekend and I also was taking care of my granddaughter, Madison. It was cold but we had a good time. There were a couple of activities for the kids and we got some delicious hot chocolate. We walked around a bit after riding the train and then headed home. Here are some of the pictures:

Too bad she wasn't in a better mood. She's pretty much only fussy when she's hungry, and she was ready to eat.

Good thing Brooklynn didn't have the cinnamon roll with her. She might have had it snatched away, in which case she certainly wouldn't have known how to react.

You said you were having a grand stay somewhere, so I'm thinking Chelsea's dream will be coming true.

I just love the Princess pictures! Although, maybe it's just me, but do the princesses look a bit...homely? The pictures of Brooklynn on Barnstormer are classic!

I've seen a few that were just perfect for their parts, but I have seen some that I thought were possibly not first choices.

I guess we should ride Barnstormer again while it is still in its original state. Looks like things are going to change pretty quickly after the first of the year.

I so needed a morning walk around Wilderness Lodge today. :cloud9: Thanks MeMom!

Brooklynn meeting the Stepmother and Stepsisters is too cute. I love the little pose with her hands on her hips.

You are so very welcome.

She just wanted to pose pretty like the Steps, I guess. :goodvibes

I loved the pictures of Brooklynn and Alice. Alice looked so friendly and fun. I think Brooklynn was quite brave to meet the Steps as well. I think that would have sent Hannah into hiding.

I bet they would go on and on about Hannah's hair being like Anastasia's! Alice was so quiet and sweet. Two very different experiences entirely. ::yes::

VERY sweet!

this is SO sweet!

her little face just cracks me up on this ride. but you're right....it's not as bad as last year!

I was glad I got to see her go on it again and do better. Maybe someday I'll get over the first ride.

Naaah, I won't. :upsidedow

Aw I just love that face of her smiling from ear to ear with Aurora! :cutie:

Our secret table? Well, we will tell you, but don't tell anyone else, okay? ;)
There are several tables in the back of the gift shop that is attached to Tony's. That's back where there's a movie room - where all those pictures were taken with the props. You'll have to check it out.

I love all the character interaction pictures, especially the ones of Alice. My boys were wondering why I had tears in my eyes as I was looking at them. There is something about that Disney magic that is hard to explain.

Aw, heck, your imaginary friends made you have tears!

You can be assured that I will be taking a ton of pictures of Toontown. We're taking the video camera, too, so anything that we think is going will be preserved on film.

It will be interesting to see the changes that take place from this trip to the summer one.

I would love that!!!

I loved all the pics! It's nice to look at beautiful greenery while it's cold and white here!

Yes!

Way to go, Brooklynn!

The boat going over the road is pretty cool. :)

I was happy to find a nearly empty Emporium. I'll take comparison pictures this trip when there will be 7.8 people per square inch in there!

It will be fun to watch Brooklynn's reactions to things changin from how she has always known them, too. I think that is going to be very interesting and confusing to her. They are changing her Magic Kingdom!

Such priceless pictures!!

I like that blue mug, too. Why didn't I buy it this summer?

The 70's will be awesome. We're packing sweats/warm-ups, etc. and bringing jackets.

Come on to the Poly!

Madison with Santa (my favorite picture of the night!)

Very fun - both activities. I bet you guys can recite the entire Nutcracker show!

I can see why you love the Santa picture. I bet he will bring her everything on her list! :santa:

Thanks for sharing.

This is the house on the ornament that Luke dances too, and to hear it will be gone someday makes me sad. I sure hope Toontown is around in June!
