Brooklynn takes Bella to meet Cinderella! Page 242 Downtown Disney

MeMom- Great update. Your pics are great. I wish I was leaving with ya'll. I have to wait a few more weeks. I will be missing the Halloween festivites and I'll be to early for the Christmas festivites.MY timing wasn't very good . I guess any time you have a trip to POP and Disney coming is a good time.

Jill- Ty turned 6 months on the 8th of October. He has to go this week for his 6 month checkup. When we took him a couple of weeks ago for a ear infection he weighed 19 lbs 13 ozs. He is almost crawling, he scoots more than anything. He wants to walk. He can pull up and hold on to something and stand there. Needless to say he is already getting bumps and bruises.
He has no teeth yet. Bella needs to teach him to crawl and how to get teeth.

Here he is this morning. Excuse his wild hair.

Just an update on my little peanut. We went to the doctor today and Isabella is in the 4th percentile in weight. She weighs 12 pounds and 15 ounces at 6 months old. She is still wearing mostly 0-3 month clothing. Everything else is looking totally average or above average. Her length was 25 inches and that puts her in the 75 percentile. She is crawling around like crazy and eating like a pig. Off to clean up and start packing hopefully. Let's be honest though I'm probably going to put Brooklynn in bed and crash myself!

Abby was in a lower percentile when she was a baby so the doc had me give her Pedisure. She loved the vanilla so I let her have a bottle of it at bed (bad habit, though). Well, at her 2 year well visit, she was at the 90th percentile and they told me to stop giving her the Pediasure. By then, she was addicted to those things and it was awful weening her from them. But, it did work - I just went a little overboard with it:). I hope the rest of your week goes by fast. Just a few more days for you then you are at Disney:cool1:

Hey there ladies!!

Bet you're getting excited for MNSSHP!! pixiedust: That will be so much fun! You'll have to let me know how it goes. My goddaughter and I are going together next fall, just the 2 of us, and I'm wondering if she would want to do that (she'll be 10 years old).

Also....a question on fireworks for NYE. I read a thread this morning about NYE and all of a sudden had questions. :lmao: If I'm thinking right, we're meeting at the Poly for the midnight fireworks on the 31st, yes?? Cause I guess they are also still going to do Wishes that night at normal time, and someone on another thread was saying something about fireworks for NYE on the 30th as well. I am perfectly fine with whatever, but wanted to make sure I had the right day and time. :thumbsup2

Have a great day!!!

I think your plan sounds great! We had a great time at F&W, and I tried sushi for the first time too! Stick to a california roll, its just crab, rice, avacado and cucumber. I thought it was pretty good! But definitely an acquired taste.

I just told Jill when we were last at Opry Mills that there is a certain smell as you get near Rainforest Cafe, too. I could walk through there blindfolded and I would know when we were getting close. :)

I so agree with you!

tinkgurl, this one is for you!

Aw, thanks MeMom! That's still so funny we like the same two prints.

Loved the stroll around the Poly. Especially the Luau area. I just love this Resort. We are planning on staying there when we're on our honeymoon and pretend we're in Hawaii.

Geez! I was like 8 pages behind! Your pics of GF are beautiful!! Ahhh, brings back happy memories of our 08 trip!!

I can't believe you did all that walking on a bad knee!

Beautiful Poly pictures ! If I ever get to stay deluxe , that is the resort I would chose to stay at ! The food at Kona is amazing , if you guys have never ate there yet you should def try it on one of your upcoming trips :)

Can't wait to see more !popcorn::popcorn::

Aww sweet little bella. I can't believe she is still wearing 0-3 months. Is Brooklyn big for her age or normal?
Amy was always big when she was little but now she is in about the 15 percentile. Emily was really tiny but then when she turned about 7 she started catching up and now she's all caught up with her age. So you never know.

That's true - what you start out like may not be what you end up being. Bella could end up bigger than Brooklynn someday. For now, Brooklynn is built thicker, like John, and Bella is thin, like Jill. Only time will tell.

I might just suggest a night this weekend at "On the Border" they have great empanadas. I could never make them as good!

We actually have a year old Target and a big Walmart right here in Derby, KS. You will have to let me know if you end up moving down here! I'll be happy to help you find your way through Derby anytime!

Jill, Bella is such a little cutie, I can't believe how tiny she is! It's almost Tuesday, another day closer to your trip!

MeMom, great pictures of the Poly, I would really like to stay there someday. Maybe a split stay....someday.....maybe.

That sounds like a good night out.

I looked into getting a room at the Poly for NYE, so we could just watch fireworks and walk straight to our beds. Didn't have anything in my price range. Someday, we'll stay there, too, but not at premium prices.

if it's reasonably priced, you should try it. why not? you might like it.

beautiful pics of the poly, by the way. they were nice on this cold, rainy day in georgia!

I figure if I am ever going to even take one bite, it really should be in Disney World, right?

More Poly coming up later this evening, I hope.
There's something pressing I am supposed to be doing, but it escapes me.

Oh, yeah...I'm supposed to be packing!

Your comment about the Full House family staying at the GF made me laugh

Every time my family and I stop there on our vacations I always point out the piano and say "that's uncle Jessie's piano"

You all will have an amazing trip! My parents just got back a couple weeks ago and loved MNSSHP and got tons of candy

I loved seeing those episodes!

We are looking forward to MNSSHP.
This time next week we will be there!

Glad to hear Bella is healthy. She is still adorable, even if she is a little one.

I didn't have to work today, it was a holiday! Diner was fantastic!

She's the picture of health. Just small.

I'm glad you had some time off. I'm sure your Thanksgiving meal was delicious.

Beautiful pictures of the Poly! If you continue your new tradition of staying the last two nights at a deluxe, you'll get to stay there someday!

Denise

I'm sure that's the only way we will be staying there. I can't imagine the cost for a week or more. A whole lot more than I could ever do, for sure.

AT Brooklynn's 3 year appt. 3 weeks ago she was 39 and a half inches tall

But with shoes on, she gets to ride Soarin'. :dance3:

Yep. Any Disney trip is enough.

Look at that little cutie!nnnnnnn

I'd say Ty has quite a bit of size on Bella...and quite a bit more hair, too! So, Bella needs to at least do something to even things out.

Bella is a good eater, so I feel sure she will hold her own when she starts eating real food in the future.

I have to have my big bag finished tomorrow night so that I can take it to school Thursday. I definitely think it is going fast.

We've been before. I can already tell you - she'll love it!

As far as I know, it's NYE at Poly. We want to say we brought in the new year with MK fireworks. If anybody just has to change it, we can, but our original plan is Poly on NYE with a few thousand other people.:crowded:

I think your plan sounds great! We had a great time at F&W, and I tried sushi for the first time too! Stick to a california roll, its just crab, rice, avacado and cucumber. I thought it was pretty good! But definitely an acquired taste.

That sounds like something I could handle. Thanks for the input. I might do it after all.

I so agree with you!

That will be a perfect honeymoon resort for you guys! :thumbsup2

Oh, how I wish I was at the Poly right now instead of measuring out antibiotics to the family!

Sorry you have to play nurse. I hope your patients get well soon.

I can't believe you did all that walking on a bad knee!

The GF is beautiful, but my pictures don't do it justice.

It was pretty stupid to be doing all that walking, but I was in Disney World, so I wasn't thinking straight.

Dinner this Saturday night at Kona!

More coming soon.

Like now.

Brooklynn likes to shop here.

If I had not already bought her the Dinosaur remote control car, I would have bought her the monorail.

Okay, that is truly all I can do for tonight, and maybe even before we leave. I have much to do to be ready to go. I'm going to get some leftover spaghetti and work on report cards while I wait for the Duggar show to come on.

I know - I lead a truly exciting life. :)

Isn't it awesome when you can say that you're going to be eating somewhere in Disney THIS Saturday? I definitely want to make it over to the Poly at some point in February. My mom and I both want to try tonga toast and look around there, since we haven't been since we went to a luau for my 10th birthday. We'll very likely be seeing the Grand Floridian because I finally decided that I want to eat at 1900 PF. :)

I didn't know all that about the Tapa art! Very neat!

I am with Megablocks -- how cool to be able to say THIS Saturday, we are eating at Kona!

Oh wow!! I just love seeing pictures of the Poly!! :goodvibes It is my favorite resort and I could just look at the pictures all day long! I keep begging Chad for us to stay there one day. I stayed there in 94 with my grandmom, mom, aunt, and little cousin. It was just so nice!!! I love walking in the Ceremonial house and just taking in that tropical smell.....well, alright I know its just a Disney water smell, but I still love it! :thumbsup2

Thanks for the picture of the CDs! I'm trying to decide which one to buy in December; I'm leaning toward the 4 Parks 1 World.

Denise

I had an audible " OOOOHHHHHH" and it stopped several family members to ask "what?" when I saw the CD's. Definitely on the must buy for this trip.

Ahhhhhhh I loveeeeeee the Poly!!!! :cloud9: :thumbsup2 It is my favorite resort, my dream resort. Thank you soo much for the pictures, you made my night :goodvibes

I am planning on getting at least one of those CDs while I'm there in December. I'm pretty sure you guys have a few so any suggestions? :confused3

Speaking of all that walking on your bad knee, how is it feeling now?

getting ready to leave for disney is the best!

please text me updates like you did last time if you think of it - i truly enjoy them! and i'll be happy to update your adoring fans. :goodvibes

and yes, if you're gonna try sushi, try it at disney world! i bet it'll be pretty decent.

by the way, i'm super jealous you're eating at kona on saturday. i will probably be eating at zaxby's!!! :rotfl: kona is one of my faves. if you like tuna, the tuna oscar is to die for. i think you're pretty set on that teriyaki stirp though, right?

This is cute, isn't it?

IMG_0125.jpg

My Mom actually has a purse with this picture on it and a matching coin purse! She always takes it with us for our Luau night.

That's so exciting you can picture where you're eating Saturday night.

The Poly looks fantastic. We went there at night so we really didn't get to see the grounds. After seeing your pictures, I realized how much we missed.

We went to a chinese restaurant tonight and I thought of you when I saw a man walk by with an enormous plate of sushi. I wondered if you would be brave and then I looked away b/c it looked grose!:rotfl: I think I'll stick with the rice and noodles! But you go for it!:lmao:

Can't wait to hear all about it. We will catch the last two days of F&W. I'm still debating if we should go. I'm depending on you to help make up my mind!

Oh MeMom, grade cards! This is our first year with electronic grade cards, I hope the computers stay healthy!
I wish you could have found a good deal on a Poly night! I'm still waiting on that buy 1 get 4 free deal to stay there.....
