Two very nice updates

Love the Fantasmic pictures ! The ones of an empty DHS are awesome , I hope to be in a park when it's empty or nearly empty one day ! Nice resort pictures and of course the shopping ones are my fav !
Someone who knew how to work a fancy camera could have gotten some awesome shots of empty streets at Hollywood Studios at that time.
Shopping, shopping, shopping. I do love just looking, even if I can't buy.
Great pictures as usual! The GF is so beautiful! And I would love to be stepping off the monorail for breakfast this morning at Chef Mickey's!
I think Owen would love those cars. He currently loves anything with wheels.
Have a wonderful weekend! Ben and I are spending the day on a "date." We are celebrating our birthdays....his a little late and mine a little early. We are going to see the King Tut exhibit, lunch, then seeing Toy Story 1 & 2.

I'm so excited!
I used to think I wouldn't care to stay at Grand Floridian because it was too fancy for me, but the more I visit it, the more I love it, and I do want us to do a two night stay at the end of one of our trips. I think the order we'll do them in will be: Wilderness Lodge (check), Animal Kingdom Lodge, Boardwalk (Jill wants this one), Polynesian (I want this one), Beach Club (we all think it's awesome), and then who knows. If we do those, we're already looking at summer of 2014 before we have to make the next decision.
Owen would enjoy those Cars cars, I am sure. I hope both he and Hannah are feeling all better!
Have a great birthday celebration!
What a wonderful way to start the morning, a stroll around Grand Floridian. I must make it over there, it is really quite pretty!
Yes, you would think it is so beautiful in person!
I have to agree with Leslie what a great way to start the morning strolling along the walkways and into the lobby of the Grand Floridian! I have been there twice and it never ceases to amaze me. The place is just simply gorgeous!!
Wishing you a very quick week MeMom so you can be in your happy place with your lovely girls!!
I have so much to do that this week will fly by, I know. Last week did.
I have to get report cards ready - that's the number one thing.
I have to finish paperwork and communication for a field trip we are taking on the 29th.
I have a Family Math Night meeting.
I have to have my big suitcase packed by Wednesday night so that I can take it to school Thursday. I don't want to have to haul it along with my carry-on and regular school stuff when I ride in with another teacher on Friday.
I have to make sure the food is stocked at home for my cavemen. They did very well last time I left them for a few days. They ended up not eating every bone I left them, but rather they ate out several times.
Love the pictures this morning. A Disney fix is always fun, especially of places I have not wondered around much. It is especially fantastic to see the sun, there is none of that here right now.... gloomy and rained out soccer. Perhaps some sun this afternoon.
I restrained from buying those cars this summer.... but next summer I think Luke will need them.
We haven't had much sun here, either. It has peeked out a few days, but the gray skies and rain have dominated for the last few weeks.
That will be something Luke can look forward to. They're fun bathtub toys!
The next best thing to Disney is an early morning (yes this is early for me on Saturday) walk with MeMom in my jammies......
Isn't the Grand Floridian pretty? I'm wondering if you walked all the way to the Poly and if you did, was it a beach walk?
I walked the sidewalk that runs from the beach, past the pool, down by the tennis courts and wedding chapel, and then runs into the side of the Poly.
I hope to bring back many more morning walk pictures in a few weeks.
I have to wonder why on a bad knee she walked to the Poly! Today is going to be a super busy one. We are fixing to head out to run the last of the errands I need to do before Friday. I also still have to create Bella's costume. We were supposed to go to the pumpkin patch but the weather isn't cooperating with that plan. Have a great Saturday everyone!
Because she is crazy, and because she had never walked that path before.

Pain is no match for a Disney path untraveled by a diehard Disney girl!
I have errands to do, too, but I am so enjoying not leaving the house first thing in the morning and just being able to hang out at home.
A fabulous walk indeed.
Jill I was thinking the same thing about the walk and the knee. But I am sure at the time the scenery made some of the pain go away.
I do remember walking slowly and hurting somewhat on that journey, but not nearly as much as I remember the pain of the earlier Hollywood Studios walk, so it must not have been as bad that day.
On this morning, I have more recollection of the beauty around me of these two awesome resorts. When I look back at the Hollywood Studios pictures, I recall a lot of pain first and foremost.
****************************
As I sit here being lazy, listening to DIS Radio and enjoying your company, I am thinking ahead to
this time next week, as well!
Here is what I think we will be doing, as of now, so you can sort of follow along, if you'd like. Jill can add to or subtract from this, because as long as I am in Disney World with those three wonderful girls, I couldn't care less what we are doing.
Friday
-arrive late and go to bed after working and traveling
Saturday
-be at Magic Kingdom early
-meet Katie and Patrick somewhere in Fantasyland after their CRT meal
-whatever Jill decides
-evening ADR at Kona
-whatever Jill decides for the evening
-our cousins arrive this day, so we may meet up with them
Sunday
-open Hollywood Studios, H&V Playhouse Disney Breakfast, do a few things in HS, probably 'Ariel Girl'

, Playhouse Disney, we discussed possibly Muppets, Beauty and the Beast, might babyswap with the cousins so that they can ride the big rides
-not sure what the rest of the day holds
Monday
-Epcot Food & Wine fun, only ours will be more like food fun, since we don't drink
-the cousins are eating at Cape May and then meeting us to baby swap for Soarin' and maybe Test Track and anything else. We're flexible.
Tuesday
-Animal Kingdom to do a few things, see if Brooklynn is big enough for Dinosaur, and if she is, I'll sit out with Bella so she and Jill can ride. We want to try Restaurantosaurus for lunch, and then it'll be back to the room for naps, I'm sure.
-
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party this night! Please, please, please don't rain!
Wednesday
-however Jill wants to wrap it up. One last day in Magic Kingdom? Catching things we missed? Hopefully, meeting another Diser who is just arriving at the T-Rex before their ADR there.
Sometime during those days, we're hoping to cross paths with another Diser, too, so we have the possibility of three Dis meets on this trip.
Correct me if I am wrong, Dis friends, if you are the following:
Katie and Patrick-Saturday after CRT
mickeyfan71-Wednesday at T-Rex before ADR (What was your time?)
Poolrat-whenever we text each other and are able to cross paths
I could have any and/or all of that wrong, so let me know.
Jill, as I write this, I realize that five days is too short! I like our summer trips much better!!!
