Sorry, guys. It has just been super busy. I'm trying to get this grad course wrapped up before I leave next week, so that is time consuming. We've had the state (clipboard people) in our school, too, so we've had to do extra stuff for that. Also, I'm on the Family Math Night committee, so we've been meeting for that. I've peeked in a time or two on other reports, but haven't had time to add anything to ours. I'll try to put up more pictures tomorrow night when I have some free time.

Obviously, there is no way we're finishing the summer trip before we leave for the fall one, so I'm not going to even try to get in a hurry now. The summer one will overlap the fall trip, and the fall trip report will overlap the December one. The December one will have to carry us for a while, because I won't be able to make a spring break trip this year. After December, it'll be June or July for us. I'll be itching to go in March, I know, but if we want to do the last two days at AKL in the summer, I'll have to forfeit the March trip.

Anyway, I've got to go pick up my students from the cafeteria. I just got the chance to peek in and saw these posts, so I wanted to touch base and say that all is well, we're just incredibly busy. You all know what that is like. Jill has been working some open to close sessions, so she's worn out, too. We'll look forward to catching up with everyone this weekend!

Whew! You are one busy MeMom! It's o.k. We all know that you are busy with life. I'm still in awe that you have had so many trips this year! That is wonderful for you!!!

I'd love to be able to go four times a year - fall, winter, spring, and summer - spread out nice and even so that a trip is never too far in the future. I'm not rich enough to do that on a regular basis, though. I am happy for getting to go more often than I deserve, that's for sure.

The good thing about being busy is that the week flew by.

Before I go work on report cards, I thought I'd put up a little more Hollywood Studios.

I think this sign is cool, especially at night.

We had ice cream,

while we stood in the crowd and waited and waited and waited to get into the Fantasmic theater.

The show was fantastic, as always.

Once again, good conquers evil.

The lovely white boat filled with good guys comes out to much applause.

We went out the walkway that comes out at Oscar's.

No more crowd.

And I didn't fall flat on my face this year on the way out. Yay me!

Yep!!!! We sure are!!!! Dawn is gonna ride down with her friend and meet us there. I got her a ticket so she can sit with us!! I am so excited!!!

There is something very exciting about seeing that big white boat come around the bend with all of our wonderful Disney friends waving furiously at an adoring crowd.

We have to do report cards next Friday. One-fourth down, three-fourths to go, then vaca....

One day, she and Brooklynn will meet. Brooklynn's a little young for the Mary Poppins thing in the spring, but I think they'll meet in the next few years. We're bound to have trips that will overlap, or you'll come toward Nashville, or we'll go to Atlanta for something, etc.

One week from today, I will be making last second arrangements here on the homefront. When I leave for school, I won't be returning until after the trip. A friend is taking me to school, and Jill and the girls are driving up to meet us in the afternoon. We're going to the airport from school.

Happy Friday back to you! One week for you! And one week for me!!!! I can say, one week from today, I'll be leaving my office and not going back! After yesterday, that feels really, really good to say. I already have plans for that first week to hit up a pumpkin patch with Henry!
