I'm anxious to see how your pictures turn out, Disney on Ice will be very cool, we've never been, but best of all some pictures of those babies! Well Brooklynn probably doesn't think she is a baby anymore.....
Brooklynn thinks she is quite grown, as a matter of fact!
This Disney on Ice was the best one we've seen. If it comes to you, go and see it. You will get an awesome Disney fix!
No wig shopping for me today, it looks like problem solved! I will however be working in the kitchen tonight at out school fun night. I'm sure we will have a blast!
What all was decided in the meeting yesterday?
Have fun at your school activity!
(I'll have camera news at the end of my responses, by the way.)
Thanks for posting this. This video is amazing!
Poolrat we loved that video! Thanks for posting!
Yes, thanks Poolrat. Brooklynn, Jill, and I watched it a few minutes ago. We wanted more - one from every park and a bit slower. We'll have to check in on that site more often.
Brooklynn looks like she is having a lot of fun in the Animation Academy. Before long, Bella will be right there with her!
Denise
She thought it was so cool that she could change the color just with her fingertips.
Have fun at Disney on Ice!!! I know that is something Brooklynn will remember fondly.
I love that the
Disney Store (at least ours) has a Snow White shrine in the front of it! Yes, I'm obsessed.....
We did have fun. We laughed so hard so many times. When we are together, we just get silly because we have no guys stopping us.
Isn't it??? I literally had tears just watching it. Glad I could share.
The new Disney Blog is something I need to keep checking for more.
Pat
Me, too!
My kids and I loved the video too. Liam watched it over and over yesterday telling me all things that happened. Afterward, we had to write a list of all the attractions we are going on during our next trip -- that we still haven't set a date for!
Isn't it fun, though, that the boys are old enough to participate in and be excited anout the planning?
Showed the girls the video-they loved it!! I also did a little camera shopping today too. Got the Nikon D60 at Costco. Has a 90 day return so if I cant figure it out-back it goes. Can't wait to see your new pics!!
I ended up returning two cameras in two days. I never do things like this, but I was just so up and down about what to do.
******************************
Disney on Ice Celebrations was awesome, everyone, and if it comes to you, you will be missing a treat if you don't go. There were so many characters, the costuming was cool, the music was good, the lighting effects were great...
After sleeping on the Nikon D40 (well, sleeping on the idea anyway, not the actual camera), I decided I really couldn't afford it, and I didn't need that much 'power' right now until I learn more about photography, so it has been returned. The timing is not right to put $500 into a camera, plus I had gotten the extended warranty, since Drew had just gone through having a lens issue. I ended up going out this morning and getting the upgrade of the camera Jill has. Hers is a Canon SX110, and mine is a Canon SX120. It's half the size and half the price of the other one.
I played with it today, and it will take a few times of shooting to get used to it. I think it will do all I need it to do, though, and I got some good shots. I got a lot of bad ones, too, but I'm getting used to the timing. It also has a video feature, so I am going to start taking more video clips. Jill took several today, and I think you guys are going to love seeing them!
So, no more camera talk for me for a while. I will get an awesome camera one of these years when the timing is right financially and when I have spent more time learning the ins and outs of what better cameras do.
Are you ready for some Disney celebrating???
What about you, Bella?
checking out what was for sale.
The girls get settled in.
Jill went and got us pizza, a hot dog, and drinks, and we enjoyed the anticipation of the show as the barkers begged us to buy their light up toys, slushies in character cups, and hot funnel cakes.
It was time for the show to begin, and we were invited to be guests at some special celebrations by the most awesome talking candlestick I have ever known.
A host of characters came out.
Brooklynn was mesmerized, as always.
The Mr. and Mistress of the day.
More coming. Jill has better pictures than I do, since she is used to her camera, and she has the video. We have lots more to come, but we have to take a break to go eat Jill's birthday dinner. We'll have more this evening.
