Brooklynn takes Bella to meet Cinderella! Page 242 Downtown Disney

Next, it was time for some sweetness.

Minnie and Fairy Godmother had a talk about Minnie's wish to be a princess.

That resulted in some of our favorite princesses showing up with their significant others.

The screen was a great visual as the scenes changed.

I always love seeing the Princes and Princesses dancing together, whether it be on ice or at the castle show or wherever.
There is just something very sweet about it to me.

Mickey arrived to let Minnie know she had always been his princess.

Minnie was delighted to be Mickey's special Princess.

All the beautiful girls were taken away to live happily ever after.

And then it was time for intermission.

It was time for a treat, and Brooklynn chose cotton candy,

which came with a nice ears crown.

Then the warning voice boomed over, Brooklynn jumped quickly back into her seat, and the lights were lowered.

You can see the reflection on the freshly 'zambonied' ice.

Mickey and Minnie arrived this time talking about celebrating vacation time.

This was one idea,

but this won out.

This flame thrower, formerly Aladdin, was thought to be quite handsome by Jill...


and her way too old mama.

We both thought he was a handsome young man, and combined with the fact that this whole scene reminded us of the Polynesian Resort and the whole fire on ice thing, this part of the show was especially fun.

Mickey, Minnie, and friends hung out on the beach,

did some dancing,

were challenged to some limbo,

and just enjoyed the tropical paradise on ice.

There was some South American Congo dancing.

Minnie went to beautiful Japan.

Mickey traveled to China.

They met up in colorful New Orleans!

The last celebration made us think of our December trip!

There was a little problem with Santa getting stuck in the chimney.

The whole gang helped pull him out.

There he is!

I am so excited to see your pictures. We are going on October 14th to see the same Disney on Ice. I can't believe how many characters are in it.

I love the Toy Story movies and all of the characters, so this part was one of my favorites.

What Disney production would be complete without a little bit of Tink?

Then there so many Disney characters out on the ice at once. It was a great ending, and it reminded me of when the boat comes out at Fantasmic.

And now, I must take an intermission to Bella sit for a few minutes. I will finish later.

WOW! That Disney on Ice show looks great. I must investigate if it's coming close to me. I'd love to go see it.

Dawn is at the beach in Savannah. She was going to go to The Lady & Sons yesterday, I think. You'll never believe what she was saying yesterday! She said, "If I had to be a bird, I'd be a pelican!" Can you believe that bird-fearing girl even had that thought???

Yea she also sent me a text that those pelicans sent her screaming, and that Ray was laughing at her . We'll let her tell the story of exactly what happened. But I do have to agree that would be a pretty cool life!

For still learning how to use your camera, you got some amazing pictures. It looks like so much fun. I checked and I don't think it's coming to Boston till sometime in February, during or after our trip, which is too bad. Good thing I have you guys and DisKate going down there soon (and Katie sending me a few pictures), so it will be a nice fix till February!

Wowww I loveeee all the Disney on Ice pictures sooo much! I never knew how amazing that show actually is!

Being there is actually like a little trip to WDW...first you had the castle show with the princesses and their prince, then you went to the Polynesian Resort, then you stopped over in Epcot for a little WS tour followed by a reminder of MVMCP (for me too! ) and lastly, a bit of Fantasmic. Can't get much better besides actually being there.

Your camera takes good pictures too. I'm sure they'll look even better once you get some more practice

WOW MeMom!! Wonderful pictures!! Now you have me wishing for a trip to Disney on Ice!! UGH! Too bad it's here within 7 days of us getting back from our halloween trip! DH would FREAK!

As for the camera, I have the canon sx10 is, which is a little more a long the lines of the nikon and I love it!! It's not too much camera and takes phenomenal pictures!! If you like you SX120 and do decide to upgrade definitely take one like the sx10 into consideration! I had looked at the nikon but it seemed a little to much for me and the canon was on sale when I got it . My only complaint about my sx10 is its heavy!! But I could use a little weight training anyway

It was a great show. I was definitely thinking Poly during that one section, and Japan and China - yep, World Showcase all the way.

I hope the pictures get better. I feel better about getting the cheaper camera in the end.

Okay, finishing out the show.
Cameras were snapping away as the characters just kept pouring out.

It was a wonderful show, and I can't say enough that I recommend it if it comes to your area.

A little more window shopping on the way out.

Jill got banners for both the girls, since they are reasonably priced keepsakes..

Bella showed us hers.

But Brooklynn was not in the mood.

She was having a three year old moment, but it was short-lived, and we were happily on our way in a minute or two.

If you are into hockey, you may have heard of the Predators. They play at Sommet Center, where this event was held.

With one last Disney picture, we left.

I just got back last night from Disney so haven't caught up with your report yet. We went to the Halloween party last Tuesday. It was great. Here is a picture of my candy haul. We had a blast, weather was perfect only had rain one day. But sure didn't want to come back to Indiana's 55 degree weather.

I was happy for it just to be us girls, too, because we can just let go and be silly when we don't have the boys to make fun of us.

Yeah, too bad it's not a month after you get back, when you'll be more ready for a good dose of Disney fun.

I will spend the next year or so researching cameras, and when I am financially ready to do something, I will make a more informed decision.

With Disney on Ice behind us, we stepped out into a beautiful day in downtown Nashville.

Batman building.

Sommet Center on the left, Ryman Auditorium on the right.

Not our normal Nashville mode of transportation.

Country Music Hall of Fame.

Upon seeing this,

Brooklynn began singing "Chang, chang, chang went the trolley", which we assumed to be the Chinese version of the Main Street USA song.

Where the Titans play.

From there, we made a very quick stop at the Disney Store.

Princess and the Frog things.

A sure sign that winter is on its way.

Christmas things are bring displayed already.

Out in the mall, we took a step back in time when we saw this.

Bella gave calisthenics lessons from her stroller.

Brooklynn made two wishes at the hippo.

We made our usual stop for sweet treats at the Fudge Factory.

Yummy!

It's cooling down here, too, but not 55. It is a shock, though, when you leave warm, sunny Florida and return to the cold. I remember getting off the plane when we went at Christmas. We had been sitting at the pool under the beautiful palm trees earlier in the day, and we landed in Nashville to 40 degrees and rain. Big shock to the system!

The pictures of the Christmas things make me want to run to the nearest Disney story today and buy away. Your pictures are dangerous on the wallet this time of the year, but please keep posting.

Your pictures of Nashville also made me realize my DH and I have not visit Nashville in about 5 years maybe if I can't go to Disney in December I need to visit the Opryland Mall and Nashville.
