Brooklynn takes Bella to meet Cinderella! Page 242 Downtown Disney

Awesome update!
The girls are so cute together in bed!
What's with the boys not decorating their window. I'm going to put a huge dis sign in the my window at the dolphin. I think we might be in the triangle.

Only would take pictures in the bathroom:laughing: I need to study your pictures more carefully. You never know when your going to find a hidden memom:rotfl:

I don't think they would have been up for decorating anyway, but I guess the fact that it was a little Tink made it a for sure!

True that. Note jillyb's keen eye!

And here's another hidden MeMom!

I like that one. It makes me skinny!

Bella is so adorable!!!

One of the best things about Jarvis falling in love with Disney is that you just know he will one day be taking his own children there! :goodvibes

I am looking forward to seeing the difference in Bella's interest and alertness in Small World and other things when we go in October. I think she'll be a lot more responsive at just a few months older. This trip she was just, "Aw, whatever!" and then would fall asleep for the most part.

I think she'll be more alert too-it will be really fun to see the difference in her throughout the trips and then in December! :yay:

Though, her "Aw, whatever!" look is completely adorable....

The pics of the boys all excited (minus Drew) is a great shot! I love that "I'm here, I'm here!" bliss!

I bought the girls several mathcing outfits that they have never worn because that little ratfink Bella is so tiny! Three to six months would still swallow her whole. I wonder if there could be any sort of exchange and Jill coudl take them back and get some kind of store credit for them, because they were nice things.

Bella is such a little cutie!

Does Jill have any mom friends with little girls that she could do some clothes swaps with? We did a bit of that between us in our baby group (it helped score me some pretty non-pink outfits because for a while there we seemed to have nothing but pink!)

I am glad to see that the boys arrived. They look like they are ready to have fun. The pictures of Brooklynn and Bella are great as usual.

I hope your knee is continuing to improve. How did it feel while you were driving?

Great update. Your whole crew looks like they are so much fun. It doesn't look like we will make it to Disney on Ice. I can't wait to hear all about it. Maybe you can post some pictures if it isn't too much trouble. Have a great week!

Another one I missed! As you can see hidden mickeys aren't for me either.

You'll have to work on it. Seems like a fun enough chore. :)

I hope to see that. He's a good guy and deserves a very sweet girl.

Nope, we waited until after we got home to buy frames.

I'll be doing that pretty soon, too. I look forward to putting it up and smiling whenever I walk past it.

She is still so little, but she is so alert. I figure a CM will try to give her first visit button, and they'll look funny when we say it's her second. And in December, when they try to do the same, they'll look even funnier when we say it's her third!

A lot of her friends have babies the same age, so they're still using them. I know she is happy for hand-me-downs any time, though.

They were very excited to be on the way to eat, I know!

I don't think the knee was really ready for four hours of driving, to be honest, but it's okay today.

Sorry you can't make Disney on Ice. Of course, we'll have pictures!

So, where exactly was Drew?

He said he needed swim trunks, so he was going to go to DTD to find some. For the record, I didn't think he had time to do that and get to Teppan Edo on time, but he thought he did. He called as we entered Epcot and said he didn't find any trunks, but he was on his way to meet us. I'll let Jill describe the details as she and Trent had to go out the back gate to try to locate him somewhere around Beach Club.

The rest of us went on to Teppan Edo to check in. When they called us, all of our party had not arrived, but they said it was no problem, and just to let them know when everyone was there.

I took the opportunity to take pictures.

This was being worked on when we were there in March, but it was open now.

Back inside, a nice CM gave Brooklynn an origami swan.

By that time, Drew had found his way to Jill and Trent, and they had all arrived.

It was time to order.

The menu.

Trent tried out the chopsticks.

Jill, Brooklynn, and a Hidden Bella. :)

Our food being cooked.

Drew's plate.

IMG_0330.jpg

No, I think that one belonged to Jarvis actually.

By the way, Drew doesn't much care for Asian cuisine, but he loves, loves, loves Mexican!

My plate.

IMG_0331.jpg

The food was good, but in my opinion only, which doesn't count for much, I expected it to be a lot better. The steak was good, but I have had better chicken many times. I am glad we did it, though, as it was a fun experience. It was a nice way to start out the trip for the guys.

We had to end the meal with a group picture.

IMG_0335.jpg

Trent was thinking it was a bit warm, so he had the fan out, and Drew apparently feared that rain might be ahead.

Well that meal looks really yummy! I remember the day you were there and wondering what you were doing that exact moment.

MeMom, I couldn't agree with you more about the food at Teppan Edo. Definitely good but not as good as I expected. I got the chicken and shrimp and I've had better of both by my house. The experience makes up for it a little though :thumbsup2

I love the picture with the hidden Bella :rotfl: Her little peanut head peeking out from behind the table :cutie:

See!!! this is why I'm on the fence about Teppan Edo for January!! I hear mixed things!! UGH! I'm thinking of skipping it and heading to a place at one of the Epcot resorts! Hmmmm, what to do?!

A group shot MeMom?!

Me thinks not!!

You, my dear, are not in the picture! Hidden or not, no MeMom!

Of course, I do understand! I'm only in pictures a photopass photographer takes and that maybe pushing it, I hate the way I look in most and delete them ;)

Aww that food looks yummy. Alot better than the leftovers I just had.
Looks like Bella is taking after you with the hidden picture. Brooklyn sure isn't:rotfl2:

We ate at Teppan Edo last October and it was good but not great. We have hibachi style Japanese places at home that are much better in my opinion.

It looks like fun times are ahead especially now that the guys have arived! I'm guessing that Drew forgot his swim trunks?

We ate at Teppan Edu weekend before last... DD had #15, I had #18. Mine was good, DD's was really good :thumbsup2. My favorite thing was the white dipping sauce - I wish I knew what was in it! I've never tried the chicken, don't think I will in the future either :goodvibes I love looking through the store in Japan - so much to look at!

That stinks that Teppan is not that great. I love the group picture at the end...Jarvis is the only one that looks really happy for the camera!

So MeMom eluded to the fact that Trent and I were sent to retrieve Drew. Mom told Drew to catch the bus to the Beach Club from Downtown Disney since it was the closest resort to the International Gateway. Anybody want to know why this was not the best plan? Wigd, do you know how many stops the bus makes before it gets to Beach Club? That's right it stops at Boardwalk, then Swan and Dolphin, then Yacht Club and then Beach Club!

With about 15 minutes until our ADR Trent and I headed out the back gate toward Beach Club. We sat on a bench right by the pathway that comes out of the main building. After a few minutes I called Drew to find out where he was. He said he was on the bus headed our way. I left Trent at the bench and headed toward the bus stop so I could meet him as soon as he got off the bus. I waited and waited and waited. I called him back. He was at the Swan. We were now 5 minutes passed the ADR time and DRew was still on the bus. I told him I was waiting at the Beach Club bus stop and he would see me as soon as he got off. I waited and waited and still no Drew. I called back.

"I think I got off at the wrong stop."

"Where are you?"

"I don't know"

"Look around you and tell me what you see."

"A white building"

"Really Drew that is what you see could you be a little more specific"

"A windmill"

"What the heck where are you that there is a windmill."

"I don't know where I am I just got off the bus and went through the building."

"Do you see a pirate ship?"

"Yeah"

"Walk toward it and Trent is right beside it."

By this time I am through the Beach Club lobby and up to Trent. Still no Drew. So I called him back.

"Where are you?"

"I am standing by the pirate ship."

"Drew, that is impossible because I am standing underneath the pirate ship."

After about 5 minutes we finally located him and then headed back toward the International Gateway and toward Japan for our ADR that we were now officially late for. And for the record Drew didn't get swim trunks when he was Downtown!
