Wow, I wasn't on here for a couple of days and when I checked back there were many pages to read. Great updates! Thankfully, I am all caught up!

I love your giraffe photos! Awesome Job!!! I love giraffes. They have the prettiest eyes/eyelashes.

I have not eaten at Tusker House since it became a TS. It was our favorite CS in all of Disney and I was very, very sad when it changed. The food still looks really yummy...perhaps, we will try it one of these days.

The girls are beautiful as always..love their t shirts.

Oh yeah, the pastry display at POP makes me so hungry. It looks so so good.

Glad to hear that things are moving forward with your knee. So glad you are going to get it fixed.

How exciting you are staying at POFQ. I stayed at POR last Sept and loved it. It is a beautiful resort. You will love it and I'm sure you will get tons of great photos.

A quick report from my DS bday party. It was fun and the kids pretty much entertained themselves. They ate a lot (but not as much as I had anticipated-which means I have alot of left overs - DH is I am ). They swam and played some pool volleyball and even did a little dancing.

I hate to ask again but...what are your dates for Oct? I promise to write it down this time. I really hope it works out for us to meet up.

Right now, though, she has bigger concerns. Jill told me today she has monsters in her closet! And they are not Mike and Sulley!

1. Monsters in the closet are not a good thing when they aren't Mike and Sulley! I just hope those scalawags don't get under her bed too! Does Jill have some Monster spray on hand?

If the spray does not do the job, then feed them pizza! My son had "monsters" in his closet and we fed them the play pizza from the play kitchen set. That did the trick, along with making sure the door was shut at night. The only thing that freaked him out was when my DH went in later and took the pizza out!!! He would check in the morning and the pizza would be gone. We told as long he kept him fed he would not come after him.


I know, I know, we are terrible parents

Here's the news: I spent about forty minutes in a tube with just my neck and head sticking out on Thursday. I was ready to throw my arms up and sound some kind of alarm on the machine if it dared to try to put my head in! The last five minutes, my back was cramping so bad, but I wasn't allowed to move. I was glad when it was over!

The results were that I have multiple tears inside and out on/in my meniscus. He will do the surgery on 9-9-09. The lady that gave me all the pre-op paperwork wanted to know if I wanted to do it at 9 o'clock after she saw the date. I told her no, I'd like it at 9:09. She said she'd see what she could do!

He said my knee will not be 100%, but he can get most of the pain gone, so I'll take that. He said I'd be off of it about a week and can go back to school on crutches for however long it takes to start putting weight on it.

I am mad at myself, though, because if I had gone a week earlier, I could have had it this coming week, which means I could have gotten out of doing all my testing!!! Our Reading Specialist would have ended up doing it for me.

Stupid, stupid me!!!! Is there a smilie that is beating its own head?

I am so glad that they are gonna fix your knee!! Even though its not gonna be 100%, I am glad most of the pain will be gone!


I love, love, love the giraffe pictures!! That will be a nice place to take my mom. She loves giraffes. She would probably take 100 pictures just of them alone!

First of all, hurrah for Port Orleans! What a nice surprise!! All the pictures I see look fantastic and I'd love to try some of those beignets!

What an exciting safari with so much animal interaction! Love the giraffes and confess to lots of back and forth scrolling this morning thanks to Miss Jackie.

It does add a new excitement. It will feel different to be staying there rather than just visiting.

The giraffes were beautiful creatures, even if they were a bit full of themselves that morning!

yep, i'm coming into town on friday, 9/11 and leaving on sunday. so it will be a quick trip. let me know if you all are planning on getting together. because it's going to be a quick one, i will do my best to be there but i can't promise anything.

i'm so glad you found out what was wrong and that it's fix-able! i'm sure you'll be as good as new in no time. oh, if you're having surgery on 9/9 then i doubt you'd be able to meet that weekend anyway, right? i definitely don't want to be responsible for memom blowing out a not-quite-healed knee!!! no pressure - just let me know! ray and i will be back for christmas this year anyway.

I guess we'll go for another time. I can't really say how mobile I'll be, and you guys are both busy. Maybe we'll see you in December if you are here before we leave for WDW.

I am looking forward to having it all behind me, however I am not looking forward to not being able to drink even water from midnight on through the day. I drink like eight or ten bottles of water a day!

That must have been the best safari ever ours have been pretty dull lately but I do have a camera that actually has a kids mode and works pretty well on alligators
Quick shoppping ?- Do they sell a set of cookie cutters in like the shape of the fab 5 or something? I know they sell mickey but i'm wondering if they sell others. If so I might mail order I can't wait untill october.

Tomorrow starts our 'i'm going to Disney next month' dance

Very much so!!! It seemed just a few weeks ago that we were making plans and thought that 8-31 would NEVER come!!!! Now we are at 90 days and it will be here quick!!
