I think that picture was right before you and John left to ride something. Brooklynn ended up eating most of the Mickey bar and I got the strawberry one. So good!

We're going to have to convince Drew to stick around the house more so that Brooklynn realizes he is really in the family. Her uncle even. She's got guests that she remembers more than him. That's pretty bad!

However, if Jarvis will continue to bring us that awesome spaghetti that his mom made, I will let him in the family with no questions asked. That was the best spaghetti I have ever had in my nearly 52 years on this earth.

Trent met Lauren last night, and I think they were going out with friends to watch fireworks here in town. I heard the fireworks and saw a few from the back windows. It's good that they did them last night, because I think it is supposed to rain tonight.

Oh yeah, I am doing laundry, by the way. Gotta get the gym towels all fluffy soft and smelling good!

I bet that sounded so sweet! I got all teary eyed just thinking about it.

My granddaughter, Madison, turned 5 yesterday. The girls and I went up to spend time with her and my oldest DD, Katie, on Wednesday. We had a really good time. Here's a picture of me and my girls:

She saw pictures of them on your report at some point and said "I will see stepmother and tell her be nice!" What will probably happen is she will talk a mile a minute as we stand in line and as soon as it is her turn she will clam up until we are finished and walking away.
