Brooklynn takes Bella to meet Cinderella! Page 242 Downtown Disney

It is raining here. The boys have all gone Downtown to eat at Wolgang Puck's and do some guy stuff. Bella is sleeping and the rest of us girls are watching "Turkules and Megan" (Hercules). I'm very thankful I brought the AV cables for Brooklynn's personal DVD player. I was going to post a few pictures but because the internet is so slow right now you are just getting one.

We are taking turns with our computer time, because everyone needs it for different business. Since the boys are all at DTD, and Jill is putting Brooklynn to bed, it's my turn now.

Jill and I had thought we would go to Epcot and see Illuminations while the guys were gone, but after the original storm, it just kept on raining, so we didn't get out. I laid on the bed with my leg propped (it's not good at all, and it is annoying) and watched 'Turkules' with Brooklynn and read a little. She has a head full of pixie dust, so she is leaving a trail of that wherever she goes.

Tomorrow is our Four Parks, One Day Extravaganza. We'll be doing the Soarin' trot, which for me will be a hobble, and then it's off to Cape May for brunch. After that, we'll boat it over to Hollywood Studios and see what we can ride there. Then Jill's bunch will come back to the room, and if it works, they'll meet me for the parade at Animal Kingdom. Depending on how bad I am hurting, I'll either come back with them to rest or I'll walk around AK a little taking pictures. After that, it's on to Magic Kingdom to finish the day with Spectro and Wishes and Casey's hot dogs, if the weather cooperates.

That's the plan....now we'll see how it really plays out.

I just texted Trent and told him to put up a picture of DTD before they left, so hopefully he'll do that.

I'm going to call it a night. Thanks for the birthday wishes. I'm not much on birthdays for myself, but I can't think of any place better to be than here, so that makes it special anyway.

Good morning, all!

From where I am typing, I can seeing sparkles on the floor from Brooklynn's pixie dusted hair. That guy put enough sparkles and pink goo in her hair for three little princesses, so it has fallen off of her everywhere she has gone. When she reached up to scratch her head a couple of times, she acquired little pink fingers, so it was good that I had my ever present supply of napkins. (It's a 'grandma thing'. ) When I think of the little girl who left this trail of sparklies, I can't help but smile and know that my birthday ia already wonderful.

We're going to try to hit all four parks today. Jill and I don't think it will be a problem, since we're just doing one or two things in each park, but we'll see how the weather, the girls, and my leg combine to make that happen or not happen.

I want to take Jarvis to a couple of the deluxe resorts at some point during the trip, so that he can see those. I think he'd be impressed. I'd like him to see Animal Kingdom and Poly, for sure. He seems to be enjoying himself. Mitchell ended up having to have work done on his car, so he couldn't come. I thought Drew would back out of the trip, but he decided to come anyway, so he's just been hanging out with Trent and Jarvis. He also went to Disney Quest by himself yesterday for a while. He's got his camera, so hopefully we'll see some good pictures from him, too.

It was so nice just to stroll the beautiful grounds of GF and Poly yesterday morning. They have such pretty flowers everywhere, and the grounds and buildings are just beautiful. I think I'll go to Animal Kingdom today after Jammin' Jungle and then catch the bus from there to Magic Kingdom. I also want to go to POR and POFQ at some point. I love resort hopping!

Okay, I'm going to go get started on this day. Gotta roll the hair and spray it down thick so it'll hold up for about fifteen minutes in this Florida heat. Trent will put pictures on FB throughout the day, so you can enjoy some Disney magic.
