Broken Ride with Fastpass?

Tonight 7DMT went down during my FP window. Went back to check at 10 min before expiring and asked CM @9pm. She did give caveat that she couldn't say with certainty, but said she was under impression we should be able to go to FP kiosk this evening or tomorrow and explain situation and be able to get a 4th FP for tomorrows park. Anyone know about this? And yes I know golden rule about CM information with a grain of salt.

This happened near the end of the evening (9pm) and we had tired younglings and ADR at BOG at 915 so didn't go talk to someone right then and there and when we got out it was park close so to many people to sort through with passed out kids.

Any experience with this? Am I going to be SOL? I have 2 more FP for this ride tomorrow during preparty hours, and our last day Monday so its not a big deal if I ultimately get screwed out of this attempt, but it would be nice to snag a 4th FP for this or something else.

what happens when a ride is down during your fastpass time is you receive an email that lets you know its down and tells you that you can choose to see if that ride is back up before the end of the day and use your fastpass at any time after its back up and running or you can choose to use your fastpass for any other ride that has a fastpass before the park closes.

since you did not do one of those things you lost the fastpass.

Bummer you are right. Just refreshed my emails on my phone (auto does when on WiFi but no WiFi no real time emails) and saw exactly what you said. Sucks but oh well. Won't be my last time to try and ride this and it didn't change the great afternoon/evening we still had! I'll still try and talk to someone politely for maybe some empathy, but no true loss if not.

We had fp for it last night at 840. The CM told us we could use it at the attractions listed in the email or we could use it for any attraction at any park today. We'll see if she was right, but she at least sounded very confident lol
 

We had a FP for both Splash and 7D a few days ago. They were both down during our times because of weather. We were able to use our FP for Splash at Pirates. We were able to line up at any time - didn't have to be within our window. We didn't even have to change anything. We just got in line and it was green for us. Then we went back and used our 7D at almost park closing because it was running again. It was great!
 
We were on Maelstrom the other day and a boat got jammed right after the first hill. The could not get it free so we were evacuated. As we were leaving the attraction a cast member handed out paper fast passes that were good for that tier of attraction at that park and were valid until the end of the month (9/30/2014).

When Big Thunder Mountain was closed due to thunderstorms (Ironic) the CMs told us they would honor the FP+ for that ride for the rest of the day so we could come back later and ride when the storm was gone.
