Broken Bones-Funny Accidents?

if you have ever broken a bone doing something stupid-TELL US HERE!
Even if it didnt break, you just did something you had no for-site about share with us!!

heres mine-

i have broken my left arm 4 times...
needless to say, i have a metal bar and 12 screws in it.
but any way, my most recent time was a few years back in 6th grade, i was being a moron and jumped out of a rolly computer chair (stop laughing at me!!) and i landed on my little brothers pretend dump-truck. I got up and i didnt think i broke it.. i was just like "ouch!" and i looked at it, then i totally freaked out!! it was all bulgy n stuff i was like. oh lovely, here we go again. lol

so even if its just a stupid story of your careless mistake.... i want to hear it!!

I cut my finger open playing with a pocket knife.

Um...i tore some musle in my knee by picking up paper on the floor...

Earlier I was on IM and my friend said she was gonna leave so i turn around to get my phone so we can text and i fell off my chair.

Another time i was spinning in my chair (because that's what i do for fun) and i fell off

another time i was talking at the dinner table and i use my hands to express emotions and i pretty much do a little show with them when i talk. anyway so i was doing my show and i'd had a piece of potato on my fork and i was waving the fork around and the potato flung off and hit my dad in the head

another time was when i fell down the up escalator because my friend pushed me into it

I've never broken a bone(knock on wood) but one time during a basketball game I saved a ball from going out of bounds and crashed into a metal gate and got a 5 inch long cut on my arm and didn't notice it was bleeding until it was all over my jersey. It was embarrassing because it was an away game. I still have a huge scar from it.

I broke my ankle and had to have 2 screws put in, and I don't even have a cool story for it. The way I did it was so stupid.

I was at camp and we were playing tag. I was "it" and I was chasing some kid down a hill. I slipped on the dew and twisted my ankle, and then I fell on it. I broke my ankle by SITTING on it! xD

I've never actually broken anything, but my little sister slammed my hand in the car door once.

And yes-my hand was literally caught in the car door. I was just standing there, crying my eyes out and begging her to open it so I could get my hand out....and she was just looking at me with this blank expression and not knowing what in the world was going on. Not fun.

Luckily it just got big-time bruised up and the doctor got me out of P.E. for 2 weeks. So yayyy, no gym. I hated that class.

ive not got that many stupid mistakes, but when i was in 8th grade, two of my friends did the stupidest thing i have ever seen that resulted in a cast.

we were in the middle school gym, and maybe ten boys were messing around with a basket ball. i was sitting in the bleachers with some of my friends, and two of the guys i was with are talking about doing something. i missed most of the conversation. all of a sudden, the taller of the two, grant, grabs the shorter, hector, and is like, "come on, dude, lets do that!" and hector was like "are you sure?" and grant said "whats the worst that could happen?"

yes. he said the magic phrase.

so they jump off the bleachers and go grab a basket ball. i dont really pay much attention till i see hector on all fours at the free throw line. grant is running from half court. he steps onto hectors back, jumps, and throws the basketball. it was a basket.

they forgot to plan the landing.

hector gets up, grant falls, and all 6 feet, two inches, 160 lbs of him lands on his right wrist.

then we heard that sickening crunch, twice. yes, he broke it twice.

middle school boys are awesome.

This past April I was at volleyball practice and I went up to hit and when I came down I landed wrong. Within 5 minutes my foot/ankle was the size of a softball. I severely sprained my ankle and broke my foot. The weird thing is, I broke a bone on the top of my foot which is like impossible to break. And the funny thing is I did this all by myself. Normally you land on someone's foot but no, not me. And 3 months later I still have brusing and swelling. XD

im a figure skater so...

i turned around to talk to a friend, fell, and ended up with a concussion

i was leading a line, all connected, fell *again*, and ended up with 3 stitches in my finger

i fell so many times on my right knee, i had to get surgery

i fell a really weird way, and i had a bruise like you get after a car accident on my left knee

i have really bad knees now

also...im really clutzy, so...

i flipped my brother out of a gokart, and somehow i got more hurt than he did by looking back at him

i have permanent bruises on the palms of my hands

i can forget about where i put stuff so i fall over them

i can fall over a speck of dust

i can fall over just about anything

the list goes on and on.

that was the top 1% of the entire list.

one time i went to my uncles house (the crazy one; me and katelin inside joke) and he has a garden and he grows like veggies and such and he gave us this little bitty bell pepper and it was tiny so i decided to cut it open one day to see if it had seeds inside*footnote*

*this was a day where my parents were at work thus i was home alone*

anyways it cute into it witha brand new knife and it cute threw my finger and it would have gone all the way through but my fingernail luckily stopped it. so i screamed and cryed grabbed a towel and wrapped my finger around it. i had no clue what to do so i grabbed the phone and called 911 the abulance came and they just used this medical super glue and glued it togater and wrapped it up then they gave me a ride to my grandma's house cus i didn't want to be alone. my parents were proud cus i was responsible oh yea and i proved i was respondsible by that and got a puppy!!

whoo hoo so that was my long random story about how blonde i am cutting open to see if it had seeds in it

Broken Bones (in order)-

Clavicle: I was like, 6 years old and me and my brother were "sliding" down the sofa? Haha. And I stopped at the top to watch something on the TV and he pushed me down and I broke my clavicle. Yep, he did it.

Ankle (tibia/fibula): It was the summer before 7th grade, it was July. And my brother and I were at my grandmom's with my mom and we were leaving. My mom was still inside so we went outside to wait for her. And we both wanted to sit in the front. So we decided we would race to the fence and whoever won would get to sit in the front. I had flipflops on, but I didn't think about it. So we ran, I got to the fence but slipped on wet grass. I hear 2 loud cracks and I knew it. I was near passing out in pain. But hey, on the way to the hospital I got to sit in the front!

Wrist: I was at dance in pointe class and we were adding onto our dance. We were trying to work in a double pirouette. Well I was new to the performing pointe class so I attempted it even though I lacked the experience. I did it, slipped, and went crashing on my wrist. BAM. Pink cast

haha furniture seems very dangerous to me.
