Broke my trimmer!!!!!!!! getting a new one!!

I dropped my trimmer and the plastic guide broke.......its the metal making memories one that folds in half...love this thing bought it 5-6 years ago....does anyone know if they still make it?


or does anyone have any suggestions on a new one?

I have my little EK Cutterpede to get me through our snow but love having a larger one that folds flat for my 12/x12 papers.

yup we are....got 4" already today on top of what we had left over...stopped snowing for now...saying we could get another 6-8 inches tonight and tomorrow ....it is goregous to look at!

I think they still make the MM one - I have one I bought about 3 years ago. I bet if you contact them they can let you have/sell you a fresh guide

Interesting to hear the plastic guide broke....

Mine broke too, and I didn't even drop it. It broke after using it a couple of years. I liked it better than other trimmers because it trims an extremely narrow strip. I don't know whether to try a different one or try to replace the plastic part.

Well we dont have hardly any but school was closed anyways. and they are calling for something like 6 inches tomorrow. and apparently i have to work regardless. So I'm none too happy, but i did stock up on some paper today just in case

Schools were closed as of 7 last night.

I called in said I wasnt going to make it after I was all ready to go. Ryan had trouble getting out of the driveway, our street wasnt plowed and neither was the main road. and wasnt up to leaving the kids here alone for him to give me a ride to work when it was still snowing.

no reason to risk driving in this for a job you hate! I have a feeling we aren't going to have school tomorrow...our road in front of our place is still covered and still getting a light snow....starting to get cabin fever

our power has gone out twice today, just for a minute, then comes right back on....just long enough I have to reset the clocks!

Lisa, Michaels has that MM trimmer on clearance. My store sold our last one yesterday, but maybe your store still has one. I've had that trimmer for a few years and I just love it!

I have the same one, and I broke it over Christmas. I was cutting a piece of chip board and the plastic stop at the bottom just cracked and popped off. I haven't replaced mine yet, and I am not sure what I plan to get.
