Just spoke to Broadway Travel as my tickets for flights Saturday have not arrived!

Usual bluff/bluster and lies! "been sent two days ago", ""have not been sent by airline", "they were posted wednesday" was some of it.

Wife stayed in all morning from work, still not arrived.

I went ballistic! Now being sent recorded delivery to work.

How can they send another set? By my calculations they have already sent two sets if they aren't lying! :rolleyes1

Does anybody know the legal stance regarding tickets? I am still fuming about this company and not getting my tickets.:confused3

Don't stress, there is no 'legal stance' regarding tickets, every ticket issued has a unique number (locator) appertaining to it so if its lost then its cancelled on the global distribution service it was booked on and a new one issued, this is why more and more airlines now produce etickets rather than the old fashioned -plated paper tickets.
If you didn't physically have the tickets it wouldn't stop you from travelling it just may take longer to check in!

Hmmm I don't think my two children aged six and three will really grasp the idea of "don't stress". They have been asking if the tickets are here for over three weeks! :guilty:

I was under the impression that we had a contract, it is Broadway's side of the contract to send me my tickets 7-10 days before departure.

I have used electronic tickets in the past and would be happy to do this again, but this was not offered as an option.

Under the terms of your contract Broadway travel HAVE to get you from the uk to your holiday spot, there are unfortunately NO stipulations as to how they get you there, even down to flight operator, time/ date of travel or from which airport, beleive me as a travel agent I have argued each and every one of these points with ABTA over the years when tour operators have failed to deliver the specified hols, and they are perfectly within their rights to do so, not much help I know but tour ops seem to be a law unto themselves :goodvibes

 Thats terrible service. I would be angry as well. I hope you get them before Saturday.

By the way, I do agree you have been given terrible service, I was not intending to give the impression that they were in the right! If you were my client you'd be made to feel you were the only holidaymaker in the world !! (particularly as my WDW clients get an unbeleivable service from me as I so love the place, they get day plans, emh hours tips, driving directions, menus, ADRs etc)

I take it you won't be using them again in a hurry Gibbo :rolleyes1

I'd be the same as you though "GOING BLINKING MAD", i'll keep my fingers crossed for you and hopefully they will come tomorrow as promised :confused3

p.s. enjoy your holiday
