Bump.
So, me and Olivia (Meep) were talking just a couple minutes ago.
At school we have this organization I've been in since 7th grade.
One thing we can do are these projects, where it's split up into community service, health, etc.
You plan your project do whatever you're going to, then you make a display or scrapbook with pictures and information.
You then write a speech, memorize it, and present it in front of judges.
I've done this 2 years and took a break this year.
Anyways, we've been talking and we're gonna try and do AIDS awareness our Junior year. (2 years ..well 1 I guess away).
And we're gonna make a scrapbook since I have so much stuff. o_o
Some girls did a scrapbook over our chapter organization and they used Rolling Stones, Elvis, and singers for there theme.
We are obviously going to use RENT.
So, now we are gonna start planning and typing up what we want to do, make layouts and all.
You can go to District, State, and National competition. I've missed Nationals by .2 points before, for raising money for Hurricane Katrina I could like taste it. Lol.
But it's not about the competition anyways is it?
Honestly, I just had to say that, I'm getting excited even though it's like a year away before we can start doing anything, but we can plan it all now.
I think it'll turn out really really cool because I'm pretty good at scrapbooking (Not bragging, everyone in my family scrapbooks...I just do. haaah.)
I'm gonna bring it up to our teacher, and hopefully make sure we can do it. I think so, but you never know.
Also if you guys have any ideas, about raising money or like awareness projects we can do it'd help A LOT!
The hardest part is actually doing the events and figuring out what to do.
Gah, I'm just all excited. xD
