Tmz is reporting that she had a cardiac arrest this morning. So sad. She is only 32.

I wonder if it was drug related - as in diet pills and the like? I remember she was slightly overweight in Clueless (compared to the superficial Alicia Silverstone character.) Loved Brittany in that movie. Then she really worked to change her image around. Blonded herself, got so skinny, she really looked kind of emaciated to me. I'm wondering if constant dieting remedies could have caused the cardiac arrest. Sad, regardless.

At first I was pretty shocked but there have been rumors about her and heavy drug use for years. Undiagnosed genetic abnormalities (like an unknown heart condition) eating disorders and drug use are about the only reasons I can think of that a seemingly healthy 32 year old would die of cardiac arrest.

TMZ is almost always right on these things. Unlike the big network news outlets (CNN, Fox, NBC, ABC, CBS) they do not wait on an official statment from "official" sources before reporting. The news networks are going to wait for the police, the hospital or her publicist to say something before they do.

TMZ is realible but not really bound by journalistic ethics.
