Britney & Her Slippery Baby....

I don't think it did, so I'm moving this over to the Community Board for you CathrynRose. :)

Man, Britney Spears is one botched nose job from becoming a female Michael Jackson... :sad2: Girl can't do anything without somebody seeing it.

LOl, I am wondering if her baby did the infamous 'fling back' that my kids used to do...where they would just suddenly fling their entire body backwards...for no apparent reason. This was sometime proceeded by bouncing alot and sometimes the 'fling forward' where they would suddenly slam their head into my chest or chin (owww)...also for no apparent reason.

Good thing I wasn't followed with cameras, my kids did this all of the time around that age.

Ooo. I remember that. People always wondered why I had a bruise on my collarbone or chest. I tried to explain that DH didn't beat me ––*my 8-mo-old did!

It looked like her hands were full. With all of her money and people power, she should hand off her drink and bags to someone. Plus, being big and pregnant....it can't be easy to try and manage all of that with two arms.

That baby looks BIG, too. :)

there is already another thread about this. An homage to all things britney all the time on the DIS.

Maybe we should rename it the Brit-boards ;).

My DS did this ALL the time, and he was an itty bitty thing (skinny, but wiry and fiesty). I honestly CANNOT believe I did not drop him on more than one occasion.

I was expecting the call from DSS (Dept of Social Services) since this year DS went back to school with a broken arm he got when he jumped off a swing, and did NOT stick the landing. Last year he went back to school with a black eye he got while playing laser tag. It's a good thing many of us are not stalked by papparazzi......

And what's most telling, is that he 'almost' fell, he did not fall.

Sheesh--I'm certainly not a hug Britney fan, but I honestly wish she'd be able to make the mistakes many of us made in anonymity (just like we did)

I do feel some pity for Brit in the first photo. My youngest just got out of that stage where they love to pitch themselves around, and nearly right out of your arms. There have been numerous times that dh and I looked like Brit does in this pic.

Now the second picture....there is no excuse for that. What really makes me cringe is the position of the child's head. He could possibly occlude his airway. :sad2:

That's exactly what I thought when I saw that picture! ALL of my boys have done that to me and it would be SOOO easy to drop them. I'm always afraid they're gonna break their back. I think that the whole drink thing is a non issue, we've all carried our babies in one hand and a drink or ANYTHING else in the other...now if it was alcohol...well, that's not good, but non of us are god and it's not our place to judge.

Mine did that, too. So did my grandson.

I am no Brittney fan, but I am really beginning to feel sorry for the girl. She can't do anything without somebody commenting.

I'm just glad my life isn't out in the public. You guys would have a blast with all the mistakes I've made!

I looked at the picture and thought 'Is that all???' DS does that all of the time now. A couple of weeks ago I was holding him out so his feet were by my stomach. He pushed off of my stomach and I almost lost him. I was standing. He would have fallen on his head. A least someone wasn't there taking pictures of me.

yeah I know the head flinging back thing all to well, both my DD's did it around 6 months of age, scared the heck out of me when they do that, thats why I always carry them with both arms now. I youngest DD is 9 months and still does it occasionally

My 11 month old does that all the time. She did it to her father while he was carrying her down the stairs...

Talk about life in a guilded cage.

My husband dropped Benji head first into the trash can once!! I'm glad he's not famous!!

My boys are 12 and 8 now and I completely forgot about the "fling back", boy that was scary at times.

I agree. I am not a big Britney fan either but give her a break. All new mothers have had their moments we just didnt have a camera following us around. Probably alot of people who are bashing her don't even have kids. It is so easy to say oh I would never do that and then once you have kids it is a totally different story. I can remember making a few comments like that and had to eat my words once I had a child.

I'm certainly not a fan either, but I do feel sorry for her. She strikes me as somebody who was looking for somebody to love her, not her image. She thought having a baby would be all cutesie-cutesie. I'm guessing she didn't have time for a lot of babysitting jobs and probably hasn't spent a great deal of time around babies.
