British Isles Cruise

Is a verandah useful for the British Isles cruise? Can you regularly see land?

Also, would port side have more time with "good views" than starboard?

Unlike in Norway or Alaska, we used our verandah on very few occasions during our BI cruise. The views are not all that exciting during sailing. If you are on the fence because of cost, you would not miss much with an oceanview or an inside. For 2018 and 2019, it seems that port side will get better views, unlike our 12-nights last summer. We circumvented England and Scotland clockwise, so we had the best views from our starboard stateroom.
