What kind of strap do you use on your Brita water bottles? Can you use regular lanyards and if so how do you attach them? I don't have a lanyard yet to experiment with.

FYI: I found the Brita sports bottles on Clearance at Kroger for about $5.00 each here in Georgia. I'm not sure that is a great price so I am still looking for a better deal on them. I can return the Kroger ones. Any ideas?

Thanks for the help!

We use the Brita sport bottles also. You can purchase the bottle straps at any beverage kiosk in all the parks.

FYI....For all the money that you'll be saving with your Brita bottles
(at $5 each) I would not worry about saving few cents more, if at all possible some where else. We purchase at Walmart for $6.99, for us that is a good deal in comparison to $2.50 for a bottle beverage at the parks.

I used the bottle covers with straps from California Innovations.

The strap is adjustable and also removable, so you don't have to have it hanging in an uncomfortable spot. And the bottle cover is insulated, so if you put ice in the water, the bottle doesn't drip "sweat" on you. The 700 ml size is perfect for the Brita bottle and comes in blue, red, yellow and black, so each family member had their own color. It comes with a sport bottle that I figured the kids can take to school and lose for all that I care!

I got mine at Walgreen's when it was on sale this summer. I forget the price that I paid but it was well worth it. Since our WDW trip, we've taken this Brita/CA Innovations combo with us just about anywhere we go.

We have the same bottle cover as the previous poster. It works well.

If you have a K-Mart near you, check there for clearance Brita bottles. They have been found in the plumbing section and where they keep bottled water.

I'll check at the walgreen for those water bottles, I like the insulated outer cover to combat the "wetspots" on our clothes.

I had Kmart on my list of places to check but just haven't gotten there. Walmart didn't have any and I haven't gotten to Target yet.

Thanks for the info

Where can I find one of those covers for the Brita bottles? We don't have a Walgreens in our area.

My DH and I spent about 1/2 hour at Walmart last night trying to figure out how to carry the Brita bottles in the park. The only solution we came up with is insulated "huggies" for store bought water bottles and using the Brita bottles when we run out. Kind of defeats the purpose of buying the Brita bottles and I was sort of regreting my purchase of them.

So, now I know I can buy straps in the parks, which is good, but the insulated cover looks great.

Oh yeah, if you haven't noticed - we leave SOON!!!!

Appreciate any help.

I found the Brita Bottles at Linens & Things, I think they're a chain but maybe only in the midwest. They were clearance priced at $3.25 each, and if you used a 20% off coupon they would be about $2.60!

Found them in the kitchenware area, near the "gadgets"...good luck!
