And, that was my point above. She incessantly blogs about the choices others make (in a very harsh, judgmental way) and then asks for no judgments on her actions/choices. That is laughably hypocritical, and demonstrates a amazing lack of insight.

That sums it up nicely. I am going to hope that she gradually develops some kindness and understanding of others choices as she asks for kindness and understanding for her choices.

But she had to know the firestorm this would create. I commend her for having the strength to choose life for her baby and not just make the problem disappear.

She's 24. She's an adult. There is nothing wrong with an adult getting pregnant out of wedlock. If she thinks her pregnancy is shameful (thats what I got from her speech and demeanor) then that's her own internal struggle. She's probably not the best advocate for abstinance anymore though...

This is my problem with it... If you are going to be vocal about something you really should make sure that you are actually living that way. Bloggin and lecturing about abstinence when you have already had one child and are now pregnant with another is just hypocritical at best.

Did not read it as every type of birth control method has some rate of failure.

True abstinence would actually be 100% effective as immaculate conception is rather rare.

Agreed. More than that, for me all I can see is a person who jumps from major life decision in one direction to major life decision in a completely opposite direction while bringing small children into the equation -- all at warp speed. No, it's not a problem for a stable, self supporting adult to parent and have children without being married. I'm troubled when the lifestyle and the income aren't stable and the kids are expected to just roll with it. I hope she slows her roll and decides to start pursuing a lifestyle conducive to a stable lifestyle for her children.

I hope she's doesn't end up on TLC. It wouldn't be good for her, her children, or the viewers.

Since her reality show on Lifetime (Life's a Tripp,) only lasted a few months, I don't think TLC will take the gamble that her life would be profitable for them.

Maybe she wants to give the Duggars a run for their money. I'm guessing the cancelled wedding,the pregnancy announcement and the Palins partying with the ex-groom may indicate that perhaps this little miracle doesn't belong to the ex-groom
