I read that you can't bring water into DL. Do they enforce this? We usually bring a few bottles of frozen water into WDW and then buy more when we run out.
We did it last week, brought 4-5 bottles in at a time. They never said anything to us.
Now we did see a lady trying to bring a big ice chest (the rolling kind) in and they wouldn't let her. Not sure what she had in there. But water bottles were fine!
As a general rule, DLR does not have a problem with snacks packed in baggies or ziplocks and water bottles (or even other drinks) in backpacks or purses. They will have a problem with tupperware-type containers or igloo type hard case coolers. They will direct you to the lockers by the picnic area if they feel you are bringing in a cooler full of stuff.
We frequently pack lunch for our family and put it in the bottom of the backpack, and have never been questioned.
Yep, we take water and snacks, and sometimes (though rarely) a can of soda.
The last time we were there, we saw a family in the park carrying a hard igloo cooler, which surprised me, because I've never seen one in the park before.
Me and my g/f were there Mon-Wed of last week. We had a backpack with 4 bottles of water, 2 granola bars, and 2 of those 100 calorie packs of chips ahoy...the lady just waved us right in. I think they mainly only care if you bring in glass, that's a big no no.
We go to DL just about every other week and every time we bring about 6 frozen water bottles, and we don't hide them either. The CMs have never even questioned it. It really helps us save money because they charge so much for water in the parks.
