I looked at my Disney Visa today and noticed a credit from DCL for $43.92. I called DCL to inquire about the credit and they said I had to go through DU (since we used them to book the cruise). I asked Sue Ellen and she confirmed that the credit was because of the port that was cancelled so long ago.

Since a majority of us booked on the first day I thought I would share this information. Check your credit card statements because there should be a credit from DCL. It's not much but I think I can buy a bottle of wine with it!

Refund from DCL ....

Actually -I was informed the refund from DCL has absolute nothing to do with a cancelled Port .... by our TA -who notified everyone who was booked with them. Believe or not - it is a partial refund of port charges from PC due to damage.

Well it looks as though most of the good excursions are already booked. Anyone know if Disney ever opens up other excursions when this happens? If not, anyone know of other scuba opportunities in Curacao?

Check out the newsletters. I can't recall when (I think in one of the March issues though) Arlene (Mississaugamom) did an article on the Seaquarium in Curacao. It had some snorkeling opportunities.

Hmm, that does not seem to make sense!! Why would Disney refund it to us instead of the may cruisers??
have to call my TA AGAIN!!! now it is time to investigate it why we haven't recieve any!!
