It is wonderful to hear that you will be ok. Keep up your strength, I'm sure you'll be working so hard the next few months that you'll need another cruise.

Thanks! We had late seating, so I just stayed until it was all over, but I have a feeling Topsiders and room service were busy that night! I parked my myself near the bow from before we rounded that last bend and the Gatun locks came into view until we were past the lighted arrow on the other side (4 hours!). I wanted a time lapse of the experience. I took SO many more pictures than the ones I put in the slide show...over 800 that day! The joy (peril?) of having a 2gig memory card! DH and DD took pictures of the last lock from secret deck 7, so we have it from both ends. This trip was all about the canal for me. I loved it!DisneyDiva4ever said:I especially liked the pictures of Gatun off the front of the ship when it was getting dark. Your comment was very accurate, I WAS skipping parts of dinner that night to run out to 7th aft and take pictures. I'm almost dissapointed that I didn't just skip dinner period! Anyways, it was great to see what I was missing from the forward point of view. Wasn't it just the best trip ever?!
Anyone else having a tough time getting over the Repo?
