Hello I know this question has been asked and answered but we are going next week and just a last check can you bring on wine and beer onto the boat?

Thanks

Yes, DCL will allow you to bring your own beverages, including alcohol, onboard.

They ask that you not bring coolers however and some recent cruisers have said that they ask you to make sure the alcohol is covered. Say, in a bag or something but not in plain sight.

You can bring a soft sided cooler which is what we did when we cruised in August, it can't be overly large, but one that is about 12 x 12 x 12 is fine which is what we used and just carried it on board filled with beer and soda, no ice though, you can get that once you get on board......Andy

Two weeks ago we stopped and bought beer, got 2 paper bags slid one over one end of the case the other over the other end, and cut holes for the handle, it worked easy and nothing was said.

While all These posts are technically correct, there is something to be aware of.

On the Dec. 20, 2003 sailing, all beer must be initially be brought to Cabin 2648 for inspection.

All beers are subject to confiscation at that time should they fail inspection.

If you want to see a picture of the BI (Beer Inspector), see below:

Please note that wine and champagne will be inspected in cabin 6596 on the 12/13/03 sailing :):teeth:

Jim,
Which one is the inspector and which one is the taster?!? :smooth:

It depends.

If it is a Bass Beer, the fish is.

Otherwise, the person holding the fish.

Good answer. I thought you would have one

I dunno its name, but it was evidently a female.

And she drinks like a fish!
