Bringing more than one stroller with just 1 DD?

Awesome OP - glad you figured out the stap!!

Also, when DS was tiny we often would drop me, DS, and bags off at the curb at the normal departures drop off area while DH went and parked the car. DS and I just hung out on the curb waiting for DH, and then we'd schlep everything to the skycaps (tip them). It avoided dealing with the bags on the parking lot bus and minimized the bag dragging.

Good luck with your trip!

DH always drops us all of before going to long term parking. Once the youngest were 4 or so, we could manage to get through security, since the kids could help with the bags. DH would meet us at the gate.

OP, just one more thought. I know you said you'd rest easier using your own play yard, but you are bringing a lot of stuff and I think you're making things harder and more stressful by doing so.

We used the pack n plays provided by the resort and they were always in great shape. We would bring our own sheets though, so they smelled like home and were more comfortable for baby. Would you consider that?

We also ordered from gardengrocer.com. You can have diapers, wipes, baby food, water, snacks, etc delivered right to your resort. I've even ordered baby shampoo, sunblock, and other toiletries so that I could pack less instead of more.

Finally, I'd consider checking some of that stuff you are bringing. It would be well worth a baggage fee to not have to struggle with all of that stuff and get through security with your sanity intact.

OP, I have no idea if you'll see this, but I had great luck shipping some flat rate boxes to relatives for Christmas. Would you be able to ship down a flat rate box filled to reduce a bag? If you filled it with consumables (diapers, wipes, baby food, etc.) then you wouldn't have to worry about repacking it to get it home.

Glad you figured out that your luggage can hook together. That's how we've managed airports thus far. Again, we haven't flown with Z, but I'm rapidly learning that less is more. If I don't need to bring something, I'm not going to!
