I leave in 30 hours. I can't believe it - but I'm ready!!!! Now, I can worry that I forgot something!!

It's getting down to the wire!! I finished the majority of the packing and realized that we were going to need 3 bags instead of 2. This morning DH and I popped into the UPS store to have our Letter (consent for me to take our DD out of the country) notarized. I called the bank and CC company to let them know I would be traveling out of the country with our Debit card and CC.

It looks like a number of us will be traveling over the next few day. Safe travels to all and I look forward to meeting you all on the Magic. We leave on friday and I am so ready!!

DH does not have a tux and I do not have an formal gown. What are you all doing and what are my options? Since we have a verandah thinking of room service those nights.

we dress casually for the whole cruise and have never had a problem. once everyone sits down to eat, it doesn't matter how you are dressed. dressing formally is only suggested not required.

I'll keep a look out for you and your family Blonde Princess! Just look for a group of 10 adult-sized Disney "kids" in the Philly airport & that'll be us! HA! Perhaps we can compare excursion notes while we wait for our plane.

inkkognito, I feel your pain about leaving your cats for two weeks. I'm dropping my three boys off at my Granny's house on Thursday. She's going to keep them company while we're gone. I will miss them, but I have a feeling I'll forget about them once I see Mickey for the first time!

yep, hannah is excited too--she went to a wedding this weekend in philli--she should be home tonight around 11pm--then we do the quick change around on her suitcase to pack for the cruise. so, i'm packed, ethan is packed, will get hannah packed by tuesday. . .now her dad--he won't even start packing until thursday night--that's just the way he does things

Fly in from San Francisco this morning. We're just waiting for our connection to Paris. Should be boarding in a little over an hour.

Gotta love free WiFi. Glad I decided to take the laptop. It may be a pain lugging it around right now, but it will be easier to do trip reports and download pictures.

Not too much longer and I will be in Paris.....ya hear that Chirs....I'll be in Paris in the morning!!!!


Can't wait to meet everyone. I'm so excited. Didn't have any nightmares, but I'm like Queen Mum, if I had nightmares that would mean I actually slept. I'm so tired but I planned it that way. I want to sleep on this next flight so that when I get to Paris in the morning their time, I won't be ready to go to sleep.

I am way behind. A partially packed hand luggage. The camera bag is bursting to the seams with the camcorder, film, digital and 35mm cameras etc. Clothes are all over the house. Now I've got to go and finish laundry and start packing.
As for DD passport I renewed it nearly 15 weeks ago and it still hasn't arrived yet.

My dh and I are staying at Le Meridian Friday night. Where will you be? We arrive BCN 820 AM and I have no idea what we'll do all day besides try to stay awake I know it's going to be a blur but I'm gonna do my best to see as much as possible

Just got home from Beall's, where I got a variety of skirts and shirts that can be mixed and matched so I can stretch out our luggage space and still look semi-decent (same clothes, different combos!). Today is the last day of the sales tax holiday in FL, so that made it a bit of a bargain. One more step closer to being ready...less than four days to go!!

How do they know you are a DVC member? On 3 previous cruises, I had to tell them once I was on the ship. This time I called DCL. I was told they don't have anywhere to record it and that I should call member services. So.... I called member services and they told me that unless I book with points, they would have NO WAY of knowing I was going so I should call DCL.
When I told them that I had already tried that, they suggested that I call the "Sales Team". I called the "Sales Team" and they suggested that I call Member Services or DCL.

Round and round we go..................

I left a message with my DVC sales rep this morning..... no answer yet.

Are you on the US Airways flight 742 to BCN scheduled to arrive at 820am? We are on that flight.
