WB Disboarders, I know you will all have a wonderful time bringing our Magic home to Florida. The memories you make will last forever. I absolutely loved the EB voyage - the disboarders I met made it so special. Enjoy the activities and each other. I know you will really enjoy Lindsay and Deanna. Deanna is so much fun - she lights up a room and you are all lucky to have Lindsay to keep you organized. She knows how to get it all done.
My big favor: When you are in Gibraltar and coming down the hill checking out all the shops there is a shop called, The Jewelry Box, on the left hand side of the street (ocean side). Three very pretty ladies run the shop - one of the daughters, Sophia, loves everything Disney.
Please stop in and tell them Anna from Florida said, "hi". I bought silver charms from them. I know they would love to see people from the Magic.
Someone on your thread asked about upgrading. We upgraded from a cat.9 to a cat.6 so we would have a balcony. It was not worth it - mainly because of the weather but even if the weather had cooperated I would have still been just as happy in my cat. 9. My daughter paid for our upgrade ($1200) so I didn't feel that I had spent money foolishly. We had a cat.9 on the Panama WB and loved our room. The balcony was not worth $1200 to me.
Get down and buy your Euros when they announce it as the line gets really long. Be sure to have Ducky autograph your drawing. Ours is hanging in our guest bedroom. Every day it brings back good memories.
I'll give you my input on ports. I really enjoyed Tenerife. We had a guide who was from CT. Of course her English was excellent. Some guides on that tour didn't speak English very well or they weren't informative. We did the big tour - volcano, plantation, gardens, and seaside village where we had lunch. Ask Deanna about the nude bathers as we went to lunch. I bought earrings at a neat little shop right next to where your buses will pick you up after lunch. I have gotten more compliments on those earrings and they were cheap. Cadiz/Seville - we did the tour with guide to Seville. Very beautiful city - we wanted to see the city as our son went to the University there when he was at KU. That is the one tour I would change. I would go on my own and tour just Cadiz all day. The bus trip to Seville is long but the Cathedral is gorgeous. Cadiz is an absolutely beautiful town on a hillside. I found a wonderful fabric store there although I could tell the owner didn't like Americans. Gibraltar, we did the guided tour that does everything. It was very good. We had an excellent guide. We stayed in town after the tour and had lunch at a British Fish Pub that is close to the Police station - excellent food. We shopped till we dropped. Definitely check out the glass factory - it had unique items. I just couldn't figure out how to get them home??? Be aware the walk back to the ship from town is quite a jaunt - I did it twice and I was tuckered out. Barcelona, I did on my own. My husband was so upset with the unfriendliness of the Spaniards he just went back to the boat.
I took the double decker tour bus and did both runs. Best way to see Barcelona. After seeing Familia (I was glad I bought the English tour - she did a good job of explaining everything.) I decided to walk back to Las Rambles to take the bus back to the boat. This was at 4. Well, I got lost and after walking for an hour and I had only 5 Euros on me I knew I needed help. I found help in a beauty salon and made it back to the ship by 6. Know where you are going if you are going by yourself. We saw 2 couples talking to the police about pickpockets who had taken their wallets and cameras. Be careful with your belongings. Barcelona is gorgeous. The fresh market is not to be missed and Las Rambles is incredible. Wait till you see the statues - some are not dressed so be prepared if you have little ones.
I loved the new menu, the new show, the updated ones, and all the parties and activities they planned. Have a BALL!!!

Keep us posted on the disboard.Bon Voyage!
Anna
