I spent yesterday getting my clothes together - including a visit to my MIL to raid her closets. It's a relief. I still need to get a few more things organized then pack it all up.

Sorry this is such a late response ... just home from boy scouts summer camp at 0200 today. We (d3boyz) do have 2 cabins (6313 & 6315) with 5 people, but we don't have fish extenders. Don't want anyone caught off guard with us!!

Just got off the phone with DCL. I was upgraded from Cat 11 to a Cat 8 - new cabin # is 6012.

Please update Cabin, Navigator and Fish Extender Lists.

Hi everyone

I was in a GTY cabin and was assigned to 1069 - category 10. Today I was moved to cabin 2138 Cat. 9 - I am very happy with the move.

Please update us on the navigator, fish extender and any other information that this is needed.

I will be participating in the fish extender contest or whatever we ar doing with those - I had my entire office trying to figure out what a fish extender was and then some helped me with some ideas for it.

The navigator is almost ready but with all these room changes I wanted to hold off posting it for as long as possible so what date does everyone think is the best day to sign it off? Also can everyone please contact me if they want a printed copy so I know how many to bring?

How do you order or find all this dixie dust - this is our 4th cruise and we have brought other couples with us several times and never any kind of upgrade or free bee at all (brother in-law (Ist timer) booked in GTY and they are in cat 12) The other 2 cabins in our group on this cruise booked (on Board) Sep 2006 and still in same cabins. I know we are going to have a great cruise but it feels like everyone is getting upgraded and we can't even get our cabins close to each other

We fly in just 16 days - So time to give up and go with the flow

hmmm,

I was given the impression than at least a one cat upgrade was a 100% certainty.

TBH we never would have booked a Cat 12 with 2 kids if we knew this was how we were travelling.

This is my 1st Disney cruise so maybe we were lucky to get a Cat9. Looking at the EB reports there were plenty of upgrades available at checkin, and $750 for a Verandah sounds like a bargain, espec if this rate is offered to those who paid for a Gty12.

We will certainly move from our Cat9 if this is offered.

Maybe you still have time to be upgraded further?

Don't get me wrong we LOVE DISNEY and we always have a wounderful time and I know we will this year

We are in Cat 9 - 2128 We have traveled in Cat 9 last year and the year before on the PC Repo Aug 05 - - we will love it but there are 4 of us all 19+ so an upgrade would be sweet - but I gues it is not in the cards (Docs should be out soon)

Looking forward to meeting everyone on the ship!!

Bob, I feel your pain. I too have not experienced the pixie dust. I see a pattern between you and I. It is the "group" effect. Most, if not all of these folk are traveling in small groups or not at all. It appears that you and I must travel in larger circles. I still have my same cabin and had to call and beg for my GD (who is a minor) to at least be on the same hallway as us. Maybe you can call and see if they will at least put you closeer together. One good thing is you are all on the same ship

I wish I could use photoshop as I have better ideas, but am limited with the program.
