Bringing Home the Magic - Part 2 - 8/18/07 - 9/01/07- list of cruisers on page 1

Hi, we had canceled our reservation months ago, but decided this week to go ahead and join all of you again.

We have a lot of catching up to do. I still have to contact DCL in the morning and don't have a confirmed flights yet. I'm pretty sure that we will arriving in Barcelona on the 17th and still need to find a place to stay for one night. Any advise?

For those who don't want to go all the way back to the early pages of the forum, there are 4 of us (me(46), DW(40), DS(9), and DD(4). Yes, we were on the first SOF (august 2005) cruise.

Welcome back! Rikimuk is doing the navigator and I think she needs your room no. names and whether or not you are bringing a fish extender for it so let her know.

Iiachance s/b Llachance (i.e., 2 L's)
Kplat s/b Kplatt (2 T's)

I just called Disney and got our Flight information. We are
flying from our hometown to Dulles; from Dulles to Frankfort,
and from Frankfort to Barcelona on 8/18. Is this typically
how Disney routes?? I thought we would have a direct
flight from Dulles to Barcelona. Just wishful thinking, huh?

FYI - I have been unable to retreive flight info. from DCL
website.

I just got off the phone with Disney as well. My travel agent must call them ... they cannot give me the details!!! As far as I remember, we also fly as you do from Dulles to Frankfurt to Barcelona. The guy at Disney told me that we should get the documents by mid week next. I can't WAIT!!!

i called disney last week (re: flights). . .was told dreams had to give that info to me--called dreams--they said i had to ask for by email--got it later that day (just a hassel!) we are chicago to NY to barcelona

We are flying from Portland to Atlanta then diectly to Barcelona. I feel lucky that we don't have to transfer in Europe!

I arrived home today to find I had missed the UPS man with a delivery from the USA. I can only presume it is the cruise docs. I've arranged another delivery for tomorrow, so I'll let you know then.

If it is the cruise docs, they may sending them out to the UK early due to our postal problems.

BTW I'm still at Cat12 GTY, so it looks like they are sending out the docs before assigning the staterooms :

Guess what I received today - Magnets from Disney !

I didn't get sent any for the Eastbound trip, even though both my daughters did (I had booked all 3 rooms). They received identical ones last week, so I was going to steel theirs! - Have my own now.
The magnet with spanish phrases could come in handy.

Just want my documents to arrive.

Still have to buy a suitcase - Disney finally paid up for the case they ripped at Barcelona port in May. Just hope the baggage handlers have got better.

Anyone know what time we should arrive at the port?
