Anyone staying in Orlando and visiting the parks after the cruise?

Oh yes! We will be at the BWV until 07 SEP. I decided to do it ALLLLLL while I had the boys together and they still think I have a brain. THAT is sure to end soon given their ages!

Okay - I did not fax the request today - Let me try to explain -

I Requested the private room for the 1st brunch. I cannot use my name & ressie # to request the room a 2nd time.

What I must do is use the name & ressie # of one of the "brunchers" on Request line.

However, I will give DCL MY email address & phone # and be the actual contact person.
I didn't want to just arbitrarily use one of your names.

So:
Lisa (Lisatx), Teresa (silver7), Catherine (shgrbear), Deborah (d3boyz), Gail (gailadams uk), Carol (njmickeyfan) - (or LIndsay & Sarah)

May I just use one of you as requesting the room?

I hope that makes sense - if I use mine the request will be denied as I used my name to request the room already.
Please let me know - I'll fax the request immediately then.

Thanks - again I hope this isn't as clear as mud!!!!!!!!

Yep, it is getting closer and closer. So far we are still in GTY status so no cabin number yet.

I hate to be stupid, but isnt this kind of late to be assigning the GTY cabins? Didn't they hear earlier on the other cruises?

No last time Im sure that people werent told until a few weeks before. Certainly less than 30 days so I guess it will be soon.

Dont forget to let me know rooms for the naviagtor lol!!

Got my lanyards yesterday....so exciting...they look great!


Still no cabin assigned. Some of the other Med cruises got theirs at the 40 day mark, but I'm hearing most were about 25 days. It will be any time now!


The room tours sound like they will be a blast. Oh and if we can see the Walt, WOW.


For the meet, I do want to do this. I just can't help with suggestions. This is my first Disney cruise. I'd just say to put us near some beverages and/or snacks.

Yep, I couldn't justify the cost of a Disney cruise over other cruises. Then when the Med cruises came out and the repo was the same cost for double the time, I bit the bullet and booked. Then booked the PC repo basically for the same reasons. So I've got 2 DCL cruises booked, 14 days each, and haven't stepped foot on either the Magic or the Wonder yet. But I'm not new to cruising. This will be my 5th cruise and my mom's 8th or so.

Remember when we were in DL you had a backpack purse? Well - I got to thinking about it - how practical when travelling - so I just got my delivery from e-bags - the cutest backpack purse!!!! First "crocs" not my purse. Thanks!!!!

(but - all the contact info is mine!!)

I sent the fax to DCL. According to my conversastions w/them - they will review all requests 30 days out - for us that means Tomorrow - then they will inform everyone who requested the room of their decisions!!
So, keep your fingers crossed.

i was gty for next year on the august repo cruise. well about a month ago i went to make a little payment and i was no longer gty i had a room.so it can happen at any time

I am hoping to have time to get to see you - I was so overloaded on that rental house that I'm now negotiating selling it. It's much easier to oversee a finacial trust than one w/property. I need less headaches - not more!

If you want one of you could go instead of Me or Lindsay. We're only going to make up numbers. We'll leave it down as us and then we can see if we can change it on the boat or otherwise you can just go and pretend to be one of us. Neither of us like the food at brunch which is why we weren't keen on going but didn't want the others to miss out.

Grandma x3 are you still putting both of us down or are have you exchanged her neice for one of us? Doesn't matter either way really.

Hi, we had canceled our reservation months ago, but decided this week to go ahead and join all of you again.

We have a lot of catching up to do. I still have to contact DCL in the morning and don't have a confirmed flights yet. I'm pretty sure that we will arriving in Barcelona on the 17th and still need to find a place to stay for one night. Any advise?

For those who don't want to go all the way back to the early pages of the forum, there are 4 of us (me(46), DW(40), DS(9), and DD(4). Yes, we were on the first SOF (august 2005) cruise.
