has anyone gotten their disney air yet? i called disney they said the info is available but i need to get it from travel agent (dreams unlimited). i called dreams they said they don't have it. . .now i'm CONFUSED--not sure who has it or who doesn't have it. . . .

To cover both bases I would do this; email or call your TA and request that they call DCL on your behalf and get your air arrangements. Also call DCL and tell that your TA does not have the air info and ask if they could share the air arrangements with you.

Hey, maybe you'll be on that 2:10 Lufthansa flight with us out of ORD!

Hi Everyone -

I've rec'd some pm's re Ladies Brunch & Tea.

Brunch: 8/25. I sent in the names of 13 Ladies - 14 is max. #. I also inquired that if anyone decides to cancel - may I substitute and since we don't have the max # may I add a 14th person. Don't have an answer yet.

If there is enough interest = 12 min. - 14 max. - we can send in a request for another day. What is required is the full name & reservation # for each person.
AND - if anyone has already booked a Palo Brunch res. AND our request is granted - the previous booking is cancelled.
Palo - inventory control - will inform em 30 days out. Fingers crossed!!

Afternoon Tea: 8/27. For anyone interested I need that same info - full names & reservation #
I already have Julie, Deanna, Claudia & Bonnie. So, those who are interested please pm that info to me.
The private room is not available - so what I am going to do is as soon as I board - immediately!- I'll go to Palo and book for all of us. I was told by another Dis'er that in the past they put together a couple of long tables for large groups and this was how she arranged it.
In this instance we won't know until 8/18.

BTW - I know of other groups that are planning brunchs/teas so these dates were chosen so not to conflict.

Some are planing to meet o the ship and then go to the fountains. It is depending on you dining rotation. That is why I posted the bus route. We have early dining and will be going directly after dinner.

we bought disney air--we arrive at 7:35 am in barcelona--anybody know. . .will they drop us off at the port with our bags--is there something to do at the port? what time can we embark?

when we took a med cruise before. . .if you got there early they took you on a little city "tour" to buy time then dropped us off at the port closer to embarkation time.

just trying to plan things out. . .

Yep US Air out of Philly! Arr 8:20 am on the 17th! We are flying up from Orlando. Carry some dice or something so we know who your are!

Its easy to tell who I am ...Look for the blonde guy with the Captain Jack Sparrow goatee and moustace (without the chin braids , those have to be hot glued in ) or the Captain Jack Sparrow Tattoo on my right forearm ...LOL

I will start out the cruise looking like this ...but as you can see from the transformation pics below ...that is what I will look like on Pirate night .....

We also booked our air through Disney. I was hoping to get into Barcelona a little earlier than what our flight has us. We will be flying Air France from Los Angeles on the 17th and arriving in Paris at 11:00am on the 18th then catching a flight from Paris to BCN, leaving at 1:05pm arriving BCN at 3:00pm. Does anyone know if the two hour lay over is enough time to go through customs and immigration in Paris and get to the gate of our connecting flight? Our connecting flight looks like it's in the terminal next to the one we fly into. I just didn't know how long it will take to go through customs, and I would hate to miss that flight and arrive even later to board the ship. Robin

You may not be going through immigration or customs in Paris. Often you will stay "in-transit" and basically never enter France and will go through immigration in Barcelona. Because they are both EU countries it is possible, however, that you will do immigration/customs in France and be on a "domestic" type flight. Either way, 2 hours should be a enough, they would not book the connection if they did not believe you could make it.

Tia's coming along. Well, not really. On many occiasions, my mom and I have taken out all the fabric and had long discussions. But we haven't actually cut and sewn yet. That's part of the deal of me taking her on the cruise though. I told her the costume had to be done or she's not going!

Cpt JS - how much extra space does your costume take up? I wish I could justify me taking my regular wench costume but once DH leaves - I have to carry EVERYTHING - and I'm not willing to do that - so my clothes will be doing TRIPLE DUTY!

Yes, there was much discussion over the direction of the sparrow. After going back to study DMC, Todd realized I was right and CJS's tattoo still flys outward. So, since he wanted the Captain's tattoo and not Mr Depp's, he got his to fly outward too. Oh, and I think he's said before that his costume takes up an entire duffle bag.


And yes, my mother is travelling with me. I think I posted the decision on the other thread. I'm thrilled with my decision. Especialy after my mom told me she debated saying yes because she wanted me to be able to enjoy my cruise and she felt she should stay home and watch my son for me. She's a great lady and I just hope I'm as good a mom as she is. I'm so excited to be able to take her on such a spectacular vacation.

Right now in the lobby, but I am open to suggestions.

I thought it best for the lobby because it would be climate controlled and easiest to recognize other DCL cruisers. In case there is another ship docked.

If anyone has decided they no longer want the lanyard, please let me know ASAP as I now have a waiting list and a few folks want extra. Funny thing when I ordered them I was afraid of being stuck with 50, now I wish I had ordered more. I hate to say no to folks.
