Anyone else flying Delta from Atlanta to Barcelona? We leave Dayton OH for Atlanta on Friday afternoon then from Atlanta to Barcelona.

Anyone else flying Delta from Atlanta to Barcelona? We leave Dayton OH for Atlanta on Friday afternoon then from Atlanta to Barcelona.

Buddy and I leave Pittsburgh for Atlanta on Delta and then are taking the 8:00PM flight to Barcelona.

All these news reports that talk about flight delays are making me nervous. Normally I would have thought that 2 1/2 hours would be plenty of time to make the 8:00 connection. Now it's just one more thing to worry about.

Well folks, this is goodbye for me. My DD14 was diagnosed with autoimmune hemolytic anemia this week, required two blood transfusions and will have to be monitored closely for the next several weeks. There is absolutely no way that she can travel that far away for so long. She gets tired out just walking up the stairs. We have cancelled our cruise, contacted the insurance company, and shed a lot of tears. She seems to be doing better, time will tell. It has been a scary week.

I am sorry that I won't get to meet you. I hope you all have a wonderful holiday.

So sorry to hear you can't go but glad 'the yellow one' is on the mend!

I take it you are flying Air Lingus. We are to. When do you fly into Dublin?

Ours is a 3 hour layover to make our connection in Atlanta. Boy I sure hope we make that connection. You have me worried now when you talk about the travel delays.

See you there. We leave Dayton, OH for Atlanta on Friday afternoon then to Barcelona all on Delta. Glad we don't have to make connections in Europe. We are straight from Atlanta to Barcelona.

We are on the Delta flight from Atlanta too. Disney air originally had us on a two hour layover in Atlanta but changed it (because of possible delays?). They have us leaving on an earlier flight from Portland and we now have a 5 hour layover!

I think we have a 2 hour layover. Without any delays, that is. We get in around 5 am. maybe?

We're scheduled to arrive at 5:50AM in Dublin. It's only a 70 minute layover.

I know we are using Disney along with at least one other family on the flight. May be more.

We're also using Disney transfers in Barcelona.
I rented a car in FL as we'll be spending a few days post-cruise at WDW.

Hey everyone! Happy 1-week Disney Magic countdown!

Denverval, so sorry to hear that you had to cancel. My thoughts are with you and your family. We've had some scary illnesses in my family recently so I can relate.

It doesn't seem that anyone is going to be on my flight. My group of 10 is flying from Minneapolis to Philadelphia & then straight to Barcelona. We're flying US Airway the whole route (we used Disney airfare). If anyone is on the flight from Philly, let me know.

Im so sorry to hear about your daughter and sorry you had to cancel your cruise but we all understand. My thoughts are with you?

One week to go!

Our group of 10 is flying US Airways from Minneapolis to Philadelphia & then on to Barcelona. Anyone else? Anyone?.....

My suitcase is 2/3 packed & It's getting hard to sit in one place for too long! Can't wait to bring the Magic HOME!

Packing? I won't get around to packing until Thursday. A pesky thing called work got in the way. That's where I am right now, daydreaming about walking down Las Ramblas. Bothersome kids, wish the'd get their own books and let me play on the internet! Just Kidding!!!!!

May go for a 2nd bag and split that between my mom and I so 3 bags total. Still debating about the laptop. I guess I'll wait till the final moment and see what kind of carry on I'm dealing with.

I am SO sorry to hear about your DD illness. It is sad not to have a chance to meet you and your family this trip. My DD who plans to make the trip (has been medically cleared as of Friday); so I really understand and feel for you.
Hope we all can meet together on another trip and wish your DD a very speedy road to recovery.

Well - I'm almost unpacked for the stuff that stays here - now I've got to finish packing for the trip. I'm undecided about my laptop also. I was writing the pros & cons just now and talked myself out of bringing it!!!
The rolling duffle I got is big enough for everything - plus my carry-on.
You leave on Monday right? I have butterflies - what about you?

We just got a nice gift from DVC for our upcoming trip-- a blue striped DVC ;logo'd terry bag that opens into a beach blanket. Now where to pack it?

I'm bringing 2 suitcases like I did in May. I found it very manageable and had no problem staying within the weight limit.
